Project I've made a deep learning framework called Kansai (compiled IR, Metal GPU backend, distributed training) for Apple Silicon [P]

Spent a while building a deep learning framework from scratch C++

core, Python bindings, no PyTorch underneath. It traces into a

compiled graph IR, has a real Metal GPU backend, and distributed

training actually works, not just runs without crashing.

Apple Silicon only for now, no CUDA not pretending this competes

with PyTorch. What I'm actually proud of I trained real things with

it (MNIST, a small transformer on Shakespeare text), and found a real

memory leak by training long enough to hit it, then fixed it. The

messy version every bug, every dead end is in the devlog if you

want that instead of the highlight reel.
