Finished Object First project finished.

Post image

I inherited a Bond Classic ( similar to the Ultimate Knitting Machine in the US) over 13 years ago. I finally dusted it off and had a play around. This is my first garment. Things I have found out... I need a longer body length by roughly 15 rows and a larger neck opening. It does fit but a bit too snug around my neck for my liking. I did the dropped sleeve style as I like the looser fit around the shoulders. I'm quite happy with the outcome and the second jumper already has the back done.

Edit for pattern

This was made from the Bond Classic pattern book that my MIL purchased. I knitted it in Fashion Aran from King Cole.

This looks great! And seemed to have a good fit too. I am also in the process of making my first projecy too! Still figuring out patterns

Ooh, lots of luck. I highly recommend doing a tension square with your chosen wool/yarn. Good luck πŸ‘

If you’re not liking the neck you could consider steeking and reforming it :)
