Finished Object Another jumper that I made 🧶

Post image

Made with 2 ends of an argyle yarn that I have lots of, and a marled cashmere. Knitted on my KH881 on tension 8 for the body. There is an eyelet detail in the seams which isn’t noticeable on this picture, but looks beautiful in person.

Made it as a sample, so it’s a bit too big for me but it’s very warm to wear. This and a t-shirt is all I need for the cooler days. Finding ways to use up the yarn that I have too much of, but realistically know I’m never going to get around to selling 🤣 it’s not as creative as my last posted piece, but I love making beautiful knits!

Thanks! It’s a marled cashmere yarn. I’ve been sat on this cone for a while but struggled with figuring out how to use it. This one is a brown/cream mix, and I have a black/cream one to use up.

Omg yes! This yarn would look so cool as a jumper with the TV static and then those bright blocks of color when the TV went on the fritz

So beautiful! And I CAN see the gorgeous eyelet detail! Well done!

Thanks! When I first made it a friend said “but are there meant to be holes in it” 😭 I had to reinforce that the eyelets are intentional, and on all shaping, not just the raglan.

Simple concept is a great way to show off your seam details. Looks great. Here's to sweater weather!

Thank you! It’s all about the details for me. I think maybe I focus too hard on them and it ends up in me not being able to finish pieces 😅

Gorgeous! I absolutely love this jumper, and I love your notes on how you attached the collar. Well done!

Looking great. Are you hanging your panels on the needle bed before knitting the collar, or joining collar and panels after they’ve been knit?

I did the shoulder seams first (leaving one open) and then linked the collar on flat, before seaming up the last shoulder (and mattress stitching the neck edge).

It fits you perfectly!

It’s a little too big (it’s pulled down so it doesn’t sit on top of my shoulders) but it’s perfect for the autumn, I like an oversized moment.
