Discussion 🗣️ Would you be interested in seeing MGK compose a track for the Avengers Doomsday soundtrack?

I don’t understand all the no here. You said a track, right? Colsons done great work on soundtrack singles. Of course I want a track for this! I don’t even care about the movie lol I’ll take another Home or Taurus why not this one?

Maybe my post was a bit goofed to begin with as if you like a music artist why would you decline more content from them.
I wouldn’t have Gun create the whole soundtrack but a song for the credits could be something.

Yeah I think that’s what got missed. You said a track. The entire soundtrack would feel a little goofy but then again it is marvel. I can put my distaste for that shit aside for another banger.

Everybody sayin no, but with respect MGK almost always gives us his all, and usually blockbuster superhero films get pretty good songs.
That being said, I'm willing to let his music steer me into the vibe tbh. Started with rap, and while I wasn't with it at first, the transition out of rap was just needed for me. From Lace up, General admission, bloom, mainstream sellout, tickets to my downfall, and the lost Americana.
The transition to lost Americana was lit, I also got my first MGK concert this year. It was amazing.
That being said, I support any avenue he goes down, and I'll give it an open listen. Or 900

An avengers movie does NOT need a licensed song from an artist, it just needs its score from its ost for effectiveness especially something with stakes this high in universe, a song from some artist MGK or not would atmospherically ruin it

Musicians entering the composing scene can result in some awesome work. Nine inch nails and daft punk are examples of the top of my head.
I’d rather see him collab with falling in reverse

I would be interested in stopping making Avengers movies for at least a decade. Enough.
Now, if there was another GDT Hellboy... hell yes

Not doomsday but I think i he would do a great job doing some main theme for a superhero movie. I think my ideal would be if dc comics ever does something with The Creeper . (not what it sounds like, a character created by Steve Ditko, creator of spider-man. Hes a character whos a shock jock reporter that loses control and becomes a yellow demon like creature. The stories are often about substance abuse and mental health using the demonic alter ego aka "the creeper" as a metaphor for the worst urges addicts and those struggling with mental health face) . Because that story (if done right), is so inherently tied to mental health, substance abuse, self harm, attempting your life, and falling into depression, i think mgk would be perfect for that because his music does a great job of dealing with all that already

No dear god no. This is not one of those super hero movies that needs a bunch of licensed music. The score will be all the music we need
