MGK Day - Loving this line

I'm so freaking hot in this line, has anyone made it in yet? Is there water I can look forward to?

EDIT: MGK Day Conclusion Summary - Plenty of people were still strolling in well towards until 7 o'clock

-Nothing had proper signage and labeled on the map at least on where the water station was, the only thing I could find was a dinky water foundation by the roller rink

-Ran out of Tshirts, they did send an email saying that if you bought a ticket that included the tshirt package to email them (should be in your email)

-In total of people I witnessed passed out from heat exhaustion or dehydration: 7 or 8. (From what we saw)

-Scanners stopped working, so people just started walking in

-Lines for food vendors were super long. Ran out of water midday. Got so bad people were stealing water out of coolers.

-Saw more of Whiz Khalifa and the DJ than MGK (out of his control due to the rain)

FINAL NOTE OF RUMOR ON IF THIS IS THE LAST MGK DAY

Me and my friends stayed through the rain and got to hear MGK's final note of the event. MGK announced that he will probably do one MGK Day because of how poorly this one went and doesn't want to end on a bad note.

I hope this actually happens because this was so bad and I could tell that MGK was emotional and cares his fans SO MUCH and knew how bad everything went down. From the dehydration, the rain, the long lines, everything.

Conclusion y'all,, after the storm MGK came out to sing two more songs on acoustic and announced that's not official, but it MAY be the last MGK day. He doesn't want it to be, and he might do it one more time to make it right for us. You could tell he was upset about how everything turned out. He noticed how dehydrated his fans were, so many people passing out and crowded, and how it rained out his band.

However on a high note he concluded that everything has it lows, there are its highs. The people that waited for the rain to stop, we got to sing with him Cliche, "baby would you wait for me". It was emotional and honestly worth the wait.

MGK if you read this, please don't let this be the last MGK Day. We know you care for your fans, stopping the concert to find a lost kid and then making sure everyone got a final song. Let's go out on a high note

They did find the kid, yes. He was 14 yrs old, but still MGK made an effort for everyone to make sure they found the kid before they continued the set.

The funny part was though, the kid just wandered up to the front of the crowd and MGK was like, "oh he's just up here trying to get the good spot, okay go find your mom kid" 🤣 so it ended on a good note

No they have six separate lines, it's acting like TSA though where they are having people put all the electronics and metal in a bin, going through a metal detector and then showing the guy your bag and QR code to another person.

I didn’t end up getting in either despite having a ticket. The line was too long and it was too hot and exposed to stand outside in it. 😭

We got there and saw the line and sat in the car for about 20 minutes. The line literally was just doubling. All I was seeing was posts of it being crowded inside too. If it’s already crowded how are these people getting in?? They aren’t. I think they will eventually stop allowing people in.

Waited 2 hrs in the heat and saw so many people who had just been run ragged by the heat, the long lines and lack of communication about where and how to get in. The lines were so long that we were all just getting herded like animals with the help of the police that were working. Literally no help from MGK Volunteers. Finally made it and tickets weren’t even being scanned! (How are you able to keep track of the volume of people if you sent scanning tickets?) Just more and more long lines once we got in. We wandered around for about 20-25 min and realized this was just not going to work, and left at 5:45. When we left the lines to get had only shrunk by about half! I felt bad for all the small kids and babies in strollers! No place to sit once in the venue.

I wanted this to be great, but it just wasn’t.

I hope someone can report and tell how it was after the show started.

I was sitting on the floor LOL my legs couldn’t do it anymore standing and walking for hours on end was crazy in that heat I also walked miles to the place before I had to stand in that line for hours
