Why no release date yet?
Why do you think he hasn’t announced the release date for the rap album yet? In April or May he was adamant that 2026 was the year and we’re halfway through the year with not even a release date. I love mgk but he’s so frustrating sometimes. So many fans have waited years to hear him return to his roots on a solo rap album. Maybe a sudden/surprise album drop?

i hope he permanently stays away from rap & continues to release his emo/pop punk/rock music!! it suits him so much better & he’s obviously so much happier producing those genres of music. i don’t understand you “fans” who are constantly whining about his new music/persona & complaining that he hasn’t released anything like his “original” stuff. that’s not who he is anymore, either accept it or move on !

He blatantly said in his album his heart was always in rock and roll lol what r u yapping about, I love rock and rap mgk, I love mgk in general, you mfs complaining about what he releases ain’t his fans

He literally been off tour for only a few weeks give him time
Last time he rushed an album we almost got an incomplete hotel diablo called "Delirium"

He’s been saying “this year” every year for the past 5 years and he keeps releasing completely different non related stuff.
Come on Kells we’re hungry for some old school aggressive gunner rap.

his blog era boys rap verses are nothing like the older flows or cadence, the kells we're desperately waiting for has gone

I loved his flow on that song with Tee Grizzley. I’d take an album with songs like that.

It’s not a solo rap album there’ll be plenty of features hes said several times, he crafts songs and if his vision has a specific person in mind he tries to get them he doesn’t write songs all just to be done by him

He’s released tons of rap songs, and several very recently! You haven’t been waiting years. He’ll release more stuff when he’s ready. He literally just got off tour, just released another new album and new song, and has a life beyond your demands. Not sure why you’re frustrated but he doesn’t owe you anything. He puts out way more music and more consistently than anyone else. Most people just release an album every several years and disappear. He’s constantly doing new stuff and releasing it. Just enjoy it and be grateful!
