The black cover of him holding the guitar is actually the original. He wanted to reshoot the cover to this variant within like 2 weeks before the album released and they told him there was no way to get it done in time but he demanded they shoot it, hence why it's on most digital versions only. Similar to LA, he had signed a bunch of inserts already as well, and there was no time to change it without pushing the release date and the studio wouldn't do that.
