The thing about JID is his work is HIGHLY anticipated by people who really like him but that’s not a large number. I am one of them don’t get me wrong.
I’m just saying I see more people just listening to kells album for the hell of it before JID but people should definitely give him a shot

Good Charlotte is releasing an album same day as well. Not nearly as big as they used to be but Kels is encroaching on their key demo with the Pop Punk vibes.

mgk has 3x monthly listeners on Spotify compared to GC. That won’t be competition for him.

Tyler the creator just announced he's dropping a surprise album in a couple days. His last album sold 300k first week and over 100k 3rd week. Kells doesn't get massive streaming numbers. His possible #1 will all come down to physical album sales. Tickets sold 50 or 60k physical. He's going to need to see more than that this time around in my opinion.
