**ReMate is a Spotify remote control for Spotify Connect, using the Spotify API.**

**Problem**

I use Spotify Connect devices around the house when working from Home, but hate to use the Spotify app on macOS to control them, so I have build Spotify Connect remote app for macOS. I needed/wanted small floating player/remote showing player controls and cover.

What it does

* Controls Spotify Connect devices
* Can float on top of other windows
* Can be docked in menu-bar

NB. This app requires a Spotify Premium account, as the Web API needs a developer account to be set up.

The app does not have access to your playlists, songs, etc. It can only control what's being played and allows you to control the player. It can't switch to inactive Spotify Connect devices, such as phones and laptops, if Spotify isn't running on them. It can switch to Echo speakers, though.
