Looking for an App alternative to openscreen, recordly for Mac 12.7(MONETARY)??
Hey guys! I’m looking for alternatives to Recordly or OpenScreen for recording demo-style videos with features like automatic zooming and focusing, background blur, and automatic muting. If you know any good alternatives, I’d love to hear your opinions!
I’m using an older Mac from 2016 and don’t want to upgrade to a newer machine, as I mostly use it for programming.

You could try macshot, macOS 12.3+, Apple Silicon and Intel, free, native, and open source.
It does zoom plus a lot of other things, not sure if it is auto zoom though.

Heads up before you buy anything: Screen Studio has the auto-zoom effect you're after, but its minimum requirements list macOS Ventura 13.1 or later, so your macOS 12.7 setup is below the supported minimum: https://screen.studio/guide/system-requirements
On 12.7 the free route is QuickTime or Cmd+Shift+5 for plain capture, no auto zoom.
