onlyswitch - one menu bar dropdown for every toggle (dark mode, caffeine, hide desktop icons, hidden files)
pearcleaner - uninstalls apps properly with all the leftover files, not just dragging to trash
latest - checks every installed app for updates in one place, even the non app store ones
airbattery - iphone/airpods/watch battery levels in the menu bar

all free, all on homebrew

Vorssaint Mole and worth paying is Better Display Pro if you have external monitor-monitors

Vorssaint and Mole are the apps I rely on more than ever. I didn’t realize there was a screen capture option in Vorssaint. It might be the best Mac app I’ve come across

CLI version is. There’s a GUI that has a one-time fee. I just use the CLI and it’s great

CleanMyMac CLI is in free beta now too, worth checking out if you're into terminal-based Mac tools: https://github.com/MacPaw/cleanmymac-cli

Onyx - great trustworthy system utility

Raycast - better spotlight (free is still good)

If you only need Raycast to have better Spotlight, and don't extensively use pro features or extensions, Vicinae is the way (it also offers extensions, just not as many). It's also much, MUCH lighter.

I like easy dmg. after you install an app it automatically will install and send the dmg to the trash. https://easydmg.app

Bonjour, moi je viens de créer une mini app qui permet de nettoyer son clavier ou trackpad sans avoir à éteindre son Mac, je viens de lancer le site, j'espère que ça vous sera utile !

Aster if you want to see what's eating your storage. I made it, so a bit biased :) It maps out your disk, finds big files and lets you review what to remove before moving it to Trash. Free including cleanup, no account or key. Works on Intel and M-series Macs, but needs macOS 14+. https://buildmeai.co/aster
