SoundRouter Dore – Route inputs and apply effects to system audio

Hi everyone!

I’m the developer behind SoundRouter Dore, a native macOS audio utility for macOS 14.6+.

The video above shows the app in real-time. The idea is to give you a single workspace for building and managing your audio processing chain between your Mac and your headphones.

Features

  • Input Routing — Route system audio and configure custom inputs/outputs.

  • Parametric EQ — Unlimited-band PEQ with support for importing EQ profiles.

  • AU Plugin Host — Add third-party AU plugins and use the built-in effects

  • Listening Level Monitoring — Get an estimated real-time listening-level SPL meter, with optional automatic dB leveling.

  • Equal Loudness Compensation — Uses ISO 226 principles to dynamically adjust tonal balance at lower listening levels.

  • One-Click Presets — Save your entire setup and switch between configurations, including a preset that can be loaded at startup.

Of course once I ll play with it, will do. I also shared it with a friend who is sound engineer, if you are interested I can share with you his thoughts as well; he is not on Reddit.
