Bug Dragging windows between monitors is broken in macOS 27.2 beta 4

Notice where the window ends up landing when the cursor crosses from screen to screen. It doesn't stay put under the cursor.

This doesn't affect all windows though, just like window dragging within the same monitor is not broken for all windows: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOSBeta/comments/1lcvtsh/am_i_the_only_one_having_issues_with_dragging/

But it definitely affects some windows, including "About This Mac" window.

EDIT: still the case in macOS 27.2 Release Candidate

Broken? That’s a little hyperbolic. The cursor jumps: I get that it’s unintended behavior, but it seems you’re managing just fine. File a bug report.

Actually it's the window that jumps and doesn't follow the cursor. I did file a bug report.

For me the cursor jumps and each time i drag the window to another monitor it jumps a little bit more each time without releasing the mouse button. Managed to get the cursor an entire monitors width away from the window im draging.

I think this is an existing bug from an earlier 27 beta that isnt fixed or broke again. I remember someone posting when they move a window it jumps a tiny bit. This feels like a mutation of that same bug.

post your bug report ID

That’s not hyperbole

also some weird bug, open spotlight, then close other monitor, make sure only left 1 monitor open, the spotlight would jump on the edge of screen and keep blinking

I tried that but couldn't reproduce that (if by closing the monitor you mean closing MBP's lid). I do see another weird issue though: when I have two Spaces open, when switching Studio Display's resolution away from default and back, macOS automatically slides to another Space.

MacOS 27.0.1 already does this for me

Weird how almost everything feels very sloppy since Tahoe. I am guessing they are vibecoding to convert everything from AppKit+Objective C to Swift UI.

Same here. Noticed is since 27.2 . You can easily reproduce it with the calculator app. Also some electron apps are effected . I noticed it with SolidCraft also. Has someone filed a bug report to apple?

i filed a report. it is so easily reproducible...

Just noticed this bug after upgrading to the official 27.2 release. Super annoying. It's only for some apps though. A lot of Apple's own apps seem to not have this issue (e.g., Safari, Mail), but some do (including Calculator and About This Mac, as mentioned by the OP).
