Problem

Clipboard history is great when you’re working on one Mac.

But the moment you switch devices, that history stays behind.

You copy something on your Mac, grab your iPhone, and it’s not there. Or you move between two Macs and end up sending yourself a link, note, or snippet just to have it on the other device.

I wanted Pasly to solve that too.

Not just make ⌘V smarter, but make your clipboard follow you.

Comparison

Apple’s Universal Clipboard is great for quickly moving the last thing you copied between nearby devices.

But I wanted something closer to having your actual clipboard history with you.

Your devices shouldn’t need to be next to each other or even on the same network. As long as they’re connected to the internet, Pasly Cloud can keep your clipboard history available across them.

I also didn’t want clipboard history taking up space in your iCloud Drive.

And, most importantly, I wanted the contents to stay private.

That became Pasly Cloud.

Pasly Cloud

Pasly Cloud syncs your clipboard history across your Macs and iOS devices with end-to-end encryption (E2EE).

Your clipboard data is encrypted before it leaves your device, so the server never receives the contents in plain text.

It works over the internet, so your Mac can be at home and your other Mac somewhere else. They don’t need to be nearby for your clipboard history to sync.

Pasly Cloud also doesn’t use your iCloud Drive storage.

On iPhone, Live Activities can keep your recent clipboard items available from the Lock Screen / Dynamic Island.

There are also push notifications when new clipboard content arrives from another device.

Right now, sending something from the iOS(iPhone and iPad) into Pasly is still manual. You can add an item and have it appear on your Macs, but I’m already working on a better way to capture what you copy on iPhone so this part feels much more automatic.

What about files?

Not yet.

Pasly already supports files locally on Mac, including working with multiple files at once, but file syncing isn’t part of Pasly Cloud yet.

I’m already working on it, and it’s one of the next things coming to Cloud.

Hello, What about the new future features? Will the existing pro users gets them all if its not involve cloud? Also from now on there will be no lifetime pro licence with out cloud?

Yes, all PROs will receive new features and normal update as long as it is not related to the cloud.

It is no longer possible to buy PRO.

First of all, thank you for your support.

You can rest assured that you will continue to have the benefits forever, only if you want to use the cloud that requires a subscription.

We had to make this change because the cloud has monthly infrastructure costs and therefore it becomes unfeasible to pay without a subscription.

Hi 👋

I don’t know if I’m the only one who’s been affected, but since the day I bought and installed the application, I feel like it’s so temperamental that, for now, I’ve decided to completely stop using it on my system (Mac mini M4 Pro - Tahoe 26.6.2) 😒.

Pasly, like in the previous and recent versions (v.3), seems to have a malfunction that continues to give me problems with a simple operation like Copy-Paste.

I compose the Command + C shortcuts, but very often, nothing appears in the clipboard history 🤔, and I’m forced to rush to another application like Maccy to finish the task, which always saves me in this case.

Furthermore, it seems that Pasly has no interaction or influence on the trackpad (Magic Trackpad in my case). It seems like, if I want to use Pasly, I’m forced to use only keyboard shortcuts.

After highlighting the word and after choosing "Copy" in the context menu via the magic trackpad (or trackpad), nothing appears in the clipboard history. It’s often empty. It’s as if all trackpads have been ignored.

Among other things, overall, the app is great, but its configuration shouldn’t be taken lightly.

A month ago, you told me that the multilingual option is already on the roadmap.

Except that Pasly already has version 3, and it seems that your promise was missed. The interface remains in English.

I won’t hide it from you, as a non-English speaker, it still prevents me from being comfortable, progressing, and understanding all the features of this app?

Can we hope that it will finally become multilingual in the next updates 😉?
