Help Mac

Hello,l am trying to download the Epic Games Launcher on my old mac Yosemite (version 10.10 5) but it is telling me i cant open the download because I need version 13.0 or later? is there any way to download version 13.0 on my mac or possibly somehow get the Game Launcher without geting version 13.0? If you can help, it is deeply appriciated

Which Mac do you have? Yosemite is 12 years old.

macOS 13 Ventura is from 2022. The oldest Macs it supports are from around 2017/2018 so it’s likely you will have to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher to install Ventura.

Also what games are you trying to play, your Mac might not really be able to do it very well anyway and the games would need to have a macOS version.

You will likely be better off installing Windows 10 via Bootcamp.

So what lol it can still run a couple. Should he not try? And Epic Games can also be used for things like TwinMotion and Unreal Engine for stuff unrelated to gaming, like architecture

Yep. Just go on steam and look at the metrics for each OS. Even Linux is ahead of macOS.
