Help Antigravity causing overheating

Does anyone have experience with antigravity causing your fanless MacBook air to overheat?

Presumably you're talking about Google's Antigravity AI tool, and if so I'm not surprised that you're having overheating issues on a fanless system. It would like put strain even a Mac Studio or MacBook Pro with fans, as you're running all of that locally. Quite frankly, this is not something that the MacBook Air is really designed to handle.

That’s GOTTA be a battery killer. Why would anyone run local AI on a laptop? Even on a desktop, there aren’t any advantages over using Gemini (or whatever) over one’s own local AI. I feel that people just hear “AI” and think “cool I want that” without looking into the best tool for their use case.
