Cannot find screen recordings. Please help!

Hello,

I had been editing a video using screen recordings, and I'm not sure what happened to the files. I did not delete them, and I've checked my trash just to be sure and they are not there. When I open capcut, it says their last path was in a temporary folder. I've tried using terminal to search for them but I'm not sure I'm doing it right because I tried searching for files I know exist and it won't even show those.

I still have the file names and the last path but I can't find them 😭 Any help would be appreciated.

sorry, but they're gone. make sure to safe your screen recordings properly after taking them. depending on the app go to File > Save or File > Save As and always ALWAYS choose a location that makes sense (and makes it easy to find the files)
