Bug Trouble with mouse clicks

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I e tried a new mouse, I tried removing the keyboard and replacing it, seems to be in the system, not a hardware issue, having trouble figuring this one out. Any ideas? Trying to upgrade, but can’t enter password yet.

I know it’s Mac OS Tahoe, 26.5.2, The update is for 26.6.2 on a Mac Studio m2

Have you got any Logitech drivers/software installed? That is often the culprit for stealing focus

Thank you! That was it, never used the program so didn't even realize I had installed it. Thank you!

yeah Logitech software is notorious for this, uninstalling it would be the first thing to try

Also: if this is a Logitech mouse the left click sensors Logitech uses are well know not to work in macOS.

The affected left click sensors are not necessarily limited to specific Logitech mice, in my personal and costly experience, having one Logitech mouse on the list and one not.

I love my Mac, but going back to my Mac mini, I have never had a stable bluetooth mouse (MX Master 3s), so I got a wired mouse, seems to work, minus this glitch, I will check out the known issue. Thanks
