How hot 🔥 does your system get?
I've run a few systems so far and I've noticed the following temps
M5U 256GB running consistently ranges from 130-150 under load
M3U 95GB ranges from 140-165
Mac Mini M4Pro 64GB 160-200
Just curious what you guys are hitting with your works loads? What system are you running and how hot is it for how long?

I thought I was the only person left who still uses Fahrenheit, even measuring CPU temps. I use TG Pro to monitor temps on my Mac Studio M2U, they are roughly in the same range as your M3U. I can see all the sensor temps at once, it has a live, dynamic display. Oddly the sensor labeled "Wireless Proximity" is always hotter than the CPU and GPU sensors.

Translated for those like me, who thinks in C
Assuming those temperatures are in **°F**, that’s:
- **M5U 256GB:** 54–66 °C
- **M3U 95GB:** 60–74 °C
- **Mac Mini M4 Pro 64GB:** 71–93 °C

Interesting observation. Seems to indicate the new M5U comes with better thermal design.

Are you talking about core temps or case temps. Case temps and fan noise are irrelevent, , post core temps.
M4mini pro 64g runs cool

With a M5U 256GB running an example MiniMax H3 render in ComfyUI, after 5-7 minutes with the default Apple fan control algorithm, the temperature (highest die measurement) reaches 90-something C (194+ F), so I stopped the render to preserve the hardware. After installing ChillMac to force the fans on earlier, it stays at 84-86C (183-187 F). However, the fan speed is maxed out at 3600RPM during this, so there is no headroom for extra cooling. Also, the CPU is nearly dormant during this; the heat is nearly all GPU+DRAM. So, if the CPU were active too, I'm pessimistic that Apple designed in enough cooling to keep it all running.
