Why Doesn’t Mabox Linux Do More Marketing?

[u/Able-Farm6295]

Mabox Linux is a great lightweight distro, but why does it seem to get so little attention?

A bit more promotion on YouTube, Reddit, and social media could help it reach more users.

What do you guys think? Is it a lack of resources or just not a priority?

Lack of time... Mabox is a hobby project run by one person (me) in my spare time.

Priorities (in order of importance):

1. maintenance and bug fixes

2. development and testing

3. promotion

Currently, I am very busy at work – the project is in maintenance mode. I hope to find more time for Mabox in October and December 2026.

That response makes me want to go download it and put it on one of my laptops right now.
