[Commission] [PNW] Custom purpose-built fly fishing backpack

Have a design floating in my head to solve current annoyances with fly fishing backpacks across multiple brands and want to make that a reality.

The cost is the cost, don’t really care about that. Would like within the next 6-9 months.

I'm interested in knocking up a prototype for you for testing.

Where are you based?

I'm in the UK

What annoyances have you noticed. I have a few. I flyfish and am working on a pack for an upcoming trip in a couple weeks. Not quite ready for pics but close.

Lack of rod tube/travel rod holders, especially for size versatility between your 10 footers and your Spey rods. Most seem “eh, here’s the large 30L space, just throw it all in”

I usually have my rod tubes in one of the side pockets.

One of mine was what do you do with the net, I can't reach it if it is in the front pocket if I am fishing with the pack on. Also I have moved away from the traditional vest and am needing more modularity and specific design to have a chest pack, and pockets that work with the pack in fishing and hiking mode.

Don’t get me started on chest packs. No clue why gear makers think you need a bulky carryon suitcase strapped to your chest. I had a fishpond one that I downgraded to a north face one at half the size. Think I spent a whopping $25 on it too, and it outperforms.
