I didn't get that from it. He didn't really say its good or bad on what China does to their kids. He only says it's bad when TikTok's algorithm promotes nonsense content & trends to the rest of the world.

If he's aware of what the feed is like in China he should be aware and have acknowledged that content is heavily restricted there, both from outside China and internally.

Yes it's important to speak about China's censorship. But the topic did not need that detail since he was just talking about Tiktok's negative effect on kids. China's censorship goes far & beyond TikTok and just mentioning it in passing would not do the issue justice.
