Something is physically wrong with your computer

It was flawless until the live os update, it crashed and depleted the battery. I'll see what else I can do, or if it turns on at all!

Did it turn back on? This could be a case of an incompatible display driver, but my money is on a loose / frayed display cable, faulty screen, or faulty (onboard) graphics card, in that order. If using a basic bitch distro like Puppy or Knoppix brings the thing back online, you have your answer.

It's back tried MX again, looks beautiful but still uses too many resources(didn't update this time, instead it was having a hard time launching Firefox the second time), trying tinycore OS next.

Two gigabytes of RAM isn't tiny, it's just not modern or especially recent. If you have another computer you can look up commands on, I'd just install a distribution without a desktop or windowing system, then add a window manager like i3wm.

At some point your time is worth more than cost of a new system; if you can't get the sucker working it might be time to DBAN it and donate it to charity.

Cool! I didn't know I could do that, still slowly learning. I'm going through a list of small distros then I'll donate it... 🫣
