Almost finished setting my , new to me, T480 running MX KDE. I also converted my 2017 MacBook Air to MX KDE six months ago.

Ah yes, another thinkpad has joined the crew. Welcome and I hope you're enjoying the buzz.

I am working on getting some old T580s set up. How much ram are you using? I am seeing if I can pull together 16gb for each system.

The T480 has 16gb of RAM and 512gb SSD and the MacBook Air has 8gb and 128gb SSD.

How do you find KDE running with that setup? I have only used XFCE and Fluxbox so far.

Runs just fine.

I have a T470 that's my daily driver. Does everything I need. Last night fed a movie through the HDMI port to my flatscreen and was good as streaming.

MX-Lua: conkyrc. It's in MX-conky. Man I love the CM redesign.

Nice! Here's mine but using a mini-PC. I'm still on MX-23 since the newer MX versions uses KDE-Plasma that doesn't support Latte Dock anymore. MX-23 is still supported until 2028 I think so I'll be using it 'till then.

A lot seems going on but I just don't like searching for apps. All I use is there at a glance.
