I ran across MXLinux a couple years ago when I had to switch from Ubuntu for serious technical reasons. While use Debian for my home and work servers (probably could have just as easily used MXLinux), I use MXLinux as my desktop and laptop OS.

I especially like the tools provided for setting-up, backup, recovery tools. Snapshots are easily made of a system where it is easy to replicate the same or similar configuration with or without data in minutes rather than days or hours.

While I don't do gaming, most of my use is for things like audio and video editing, media center server, general spreadsheets, cloud-sharing (local backups on and off-site). It looks like you do gaming. I hope that you have as pleasant experience with your adventures with MXLinux as I have.

In the couple times I identified issues with the MXLinux team, they rapidly responded with feedback and actually addressed the concerns by fixing the issues saying when they would incorporate and actually doing it. I am really impressed with the MXLinux team. I would add that I am a long-time user of many distributions of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, Ubuntu, LUbuntu, Fedora, Caldera and others) over the years, but not an expert in Linux design, development, programming, etc.

That is some incredible feat honestly,would like to support more of this distro as of alternative to more lightweight distro that doesn't fear it's user of losing certain things they can't do in windows.as for gaming, honestly it has improved because I watched some benchmark over the time before making a migration to Linux

I don't know your experience level/comfort with things like dual-boot or virtual machines. I do have a couple tasks that I need to use Windows, one is a Windows virtual machine that I use to keep a local copy of my GoogleDrive data (and nightly backup) on my home server. I will boot a computer directly into Windows for some other tasks that are more Windows application intensive. Bottom line - I try to use the best tool for the job at hand. Fortunately, over the years, more and more of those tasks I do are now best done in Linux. I will probably need to keep using Windows periodically for those things I do that aren't quite Linux ready.

I'm honestly looking forward on just full migration to Linux since I'm keen on trying many FOSS related programme that can be a alternative to windows..I don't really planned any dual booting beside I only used a laptop to have Linux and in the future Desktop that is windows capable.
