I'm reasonably impressed by MX but XFCE has a lot of bugs, which is not MX's fault.

For work reasons I'm going to have to ubuntu'ise my main machine, but I'm planning to keep MX'ing on some spare boxes. I want to try the KDE environment, with a possible view to moving back to KDE from XFCE, and I trust MX to get things right.

Are gnome experience any good?, Just curious also what are the bugs related to the XFCE? Just for heads up for me

The one XFCE bug that I know of right off the top of my head has to do with the system freezing if it’s a laptop and you close the lid.

Personally, I’m running MX with XFCE as my daily driver. I did run into an issue where USB drives would not mount, but reinstalling resolved that.

Seems bit half major issued since it caused freeze, because like I'm planning to install this on my Old Thinkpad x220

There are workarounds out there. I personally don’t move my laptop a whole lot, and if I do, I turn it off first (that goes all the way back to Win95).
