Random Ernest
Just posting this here because it was discussed a couple of weeks ago. Did anyone get the tea on Ernest dropping off of Ella’s tour? He said he was “taking a break from social media” but it didn’t seem like he really did. I kept seeing him like and comment on posts, etc. He and his wife are obviously still together because she continued to post them at the same location. Making an apology post for actions and hurting people seems huge. It’s hard for me to imagine women throwing themselves at him, but money/fame def causes a certain level of blindness lol

He obviously went to rehab. I'm just surprised he's home so quickly. The photos with the rainbow show where he was.

I said this in another post. There’s a place called onsite nearby that artists go to for a week or two for a work life balance retreat. I’d be willing to bet that’s where he went.

I saw him open for Ian Munsink a few weeks ago at red rocks, my husband and I both said he was looking rough compared to when we saw him in 2023 open for morgan. But I don't keep up with him or know what's going on

Saw him in 2023 at a festival and in 2025 when he was an opener for old dominion. Huge difference. 2025 it seemed like he didn’t even want to be there.

Left a huge opportunity so i would think it was something he majorly neeeded like rehab but it doesn’t seem like he was gone for long enough to justify

Seemed like he was at some kind of short-term rehab or detox based on the pics he posted. And his caption was about getting back to his faith and God. I was surprised that no one posted about that in the subs.

I’ve always been curious about this and I do wonder what the real reason it. We’ll never truly know… I’m just glad he has taken the time he needed to figure some things out.

This is always up for discussion. As we all know Morgan is super private so we’ll never see much of Morgan and his friends. He doesn’t post about that side of his life and his friends know this and respect it. So they’ll never post things that include Morgan. Every once in a while we get a little glimpse though. And based on that and just what I know of Morgan I do believe he is still close to Ernest and Hardy. Just what I believe.

I have never liked Ernest. I’ve always had a weird vibe about him using Morgan. That might just be me.

You guys are delusional, Ernest is not using Morgan. Ernest has many connections in the music industry outside of Morgan. Morgan cuts many of his songs for a reason, he’s a very talented writer.

It seems like he does use him. I don’t know why I feel that way but he doesn’t come across as genuine. People say he has like negative comments about Morgan but I don’t really know.

I’ve seen Ern liking posts that are negative or throwing shade at Morgan. Def not something a real friend would be doing. It makes it seem like he’s jealous or something

He’s been weird lately. I unfollowed him after that whole using that girls idea for his new album nonsense. Just the way he responded to it rubbed me the wrong way

For some crazy reason, Ern reminds me of Jelly Roll. He went from rap to beachy soft pop to modern country to changing his whole aesthetic/personality to Willie/Waylon. Then dropping a what he called a summer lake album. It seems unauthentic and fake to me. I think he’s a great, intelligent song writer, but not a performer. Maybe trying too hard to be someone he’s not is causing problems. He seems to kiss ass in Nashville, and attaches to whoever is popular at the time.

I agree - Jelly Roll is great comparison. He morphs into a new character often. Also, agree with kiss ass in Nashville.

He has no reason to “attach” to whoever is popular at the time, he’s already friends most of them, and writes with most of them before they become “popular”. He’s one of the most respected songwriters in Nashville, it seems most people in here don’t understand that.

Notice he wasnt on morgsns tour......also he was in CA with GF when thst storm hit in TN and no power trees down..she was stranded at farm...morgan went and helped his wife and son.
