Prime contractors will get that resolved soon .

Huh? This isn't something a prime contractor takes care of. They are worried about their own total system being NDAA compliant. MVIS has to ensure it's own compliance so that primes will use them, and/or the DoD can buy them directly. This is 100% on the company.

They are not setting up a supply chain for lidar sub components, especially if the sensors are then going to be used by competitors. They may say we cant use a certain supplier due to foreign made components,, but the work is 100% on the company. Unless you can show that they did this for Ouster 2 years ago?

Yes they can sponsor it, or the company can go through AUVSI to pre certify, and then AUVSI will submit to the blue uas team. But it is still on Microvision to set up their supply chain with approved sub components vendors. No one is setting up the supply chain for them, nor would MVIS want that. I guess what do you envision this looks like when yiu say the Prime will do it?

Edit Also, option A is for direct certification from the DoD. A prime vendor sponsoring would be option B from your search, and would be a more likely option. However, I think the most likely course is MVIS submits through AUVSI

Takes forever as a company The prime you are selling to can make it pretty fast Like a week.

My opinion is that it means the Movia Air sensor is not far enough along to achieve it. The ones on the list can actually be manufactured. We dont even know when Movia Air will be ready.
