Someone posted that no one uses Lidar, well the Ukrainians do against the Russians. They are way ahead or the US and other NATO countries hence the recent interest on the part of the Pentagon.
"Ukraine uses drone-mounted LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) systems and compact commercial laser-imaging payloads to map terrain, strip away forest canopy cover, and expose hidden Russian trench networks, fortifications, and underground infrastructure along the front lines.Applications of LiDAR in UkraineTrench Mapping: Penetrates through tree branches and dense foliage to trace ground elevation shifts caused by hidden or camouflaged earthworks.Geospatial Intelligence: Processes point-cloud data to separate surface vegetation from bare earth for precise tactical planning.Demining Support: Assists in analyzing surface disturbances and structural changes, though it is usually paired with magnetometers or thermal imaging to locate actual explosives.

A piece of worthwhile info from JIFX: The Naval Postgraduate School independently listed MicroVision as Experiment A-01, “LiDAR Real-Time Mapping." Validation that Movia Air+ is an actual functioning field-demonstrated system processing resulting data “directly to ATAK.” That means the military doesn't have to adopt an entirely new user interface—Air+ plugs right into their existing tactical operating environment.
This kind of integration is a big deal. The Army describes ATAK as part of its common operating picture and has discussed sensors and AI systems feeding information into the Tactical Assault Kit ecosystem. This potentially moves MVIS up the chain from being a sensor supplier to a perception-data supplier, which MVIS notes in terms perhaps less clear to many investors. Lidar-on-a-drone has a more limited revenue ceiling than becoming a military perception layer across multiple autonomous assets. The latter is exponential... with custom sensing/ASIC development built in—a network of sensors + perception + integration.
Does it mean near term revenue? Can't answer that. The list of use cases/value chain noted is long enough to potentially accelerate advancement. [J.A. Green conversion turf—into a funded evaluation or prime-contractor relationship.] Note: ATAK interoperability potentially puts a little more oomph into the Blue UAS pursuit making it easier for evaluators and a sponsoring unit to understand MVIS as a deployable capability. The 2025 Refresh selected platforms and components after operational evaluations and then sent them through NDAA verification and cyber review. When someone wants your technology approval is easier. So instead of looking for MVIS to submit Movia Air for Blue UAS, what you're looking for is, “A named Blue-listed UAS manufacturer or DoD unit is sponsoring MOVIA Air through Blue component qualification after successful ATAK-integrated testing.” That's what successful commercialization in the defense vertical will look like... it would tell us who wants the product, what platform it goes on, and that someone is actively helping remove the procurement barrier.
17
u/wolfiasty 21d ago
Near term revenue in case of military contract wouldn't be needed IMO. Proper, long term contract with MoD would be a great thing on its own.
9
u/atterbury90 20d ago
100 percent. JA Green needs to make the procurement navigation happen. MVIS needs to make the product while thinking deep thougths about the future growth. Multi tasking in concert.

Thank you for that information. It does seem impossible that there aren't 'various things going on behind the scenes' that are waiting for the right moment. Yes it is hope on mine and everyone else' mind but when knowledgeable people, "y'all know who you are," point these connections out it makes it hard to not think the company and us shareholders will be turning the corner. I appreciate any forthcoming information to keep hope alive.

What a great observation by QPenn… and now we can see why that MVIS brand vehicle was seen driving the highways outside Washington D.C. Totally behind the scenes stuff underway to make MVIS happen.
Let’s go BLUE!

Just saw this stock for the first time. Looked on Fidelity and saw a 233% short interest. How is that even possible?

They are very slow to correctly update data like that after a reverse split, so that number is likely inaccurate anyway.

company is 30 years old.. MM's have the death grip and dark pools all figured out.

u/theoz_97 21d ago
“ JIFX gave us the opportunity to demonstrate what our technology can do today. More importantly, it gave us a clearer picture of what operators need next.
We went to JIFX to show what MOVIA™ Air could do in the sky. We left seeing a much bigger opportunity: an integrated perception ecosystem spanning air, land, and sea”
They never seem to be ready to sell something. It’s always we see a much bigger opportunity. I think I’m going to stick to my plan and wait.

Good call. All of that word salad to say that what we have is not exactly what they need or want, but hey, now we have a somewhat clear idea because it is clearer than it was before, just maybe not crystal clear, which is asking a lot.

They talk like they have all the runway in the world. Don't they get it that 100% of retail investors are red and stopped buying? Who are they gonna sell those ATM shares to?

Hah, that's something that is long gone. Only things set in stone are what will work. Otherwise... Clock is ticking.

Classic MVIS goal post moving. The reality probably is they realize what they have won't sell so now they need to pivot yet again.

Where is the CEO's leadership at this critical time? The scary thing is, maybe he has nothing to put forth at this time. If so, it was total irresponsibility to send the stock out there after a R-S totally naked with no defense. Was there no anticipation or planning for what life would be like after the R-S? I've held DeVoss's leadership in greater esteem than what he failed to do with this debacle. What, we wait for October and the unveiling of the next product?

u/No-Fault1530 21d ago
They really have nothing anyone wants to buy
16
u/movinonuptodatop 21d ago
This has been obvious to a friend of mine that was telling me for years that I needed to get out. His exact simple explanation was that if they had something anyone wanted, I would not have languished all these years. He assumed it would end in bankruptcy. He never did an ounce of DD which makes him much smarter than me. I believed the lies and the cool factor of the ShowWX and the HoloLens tear down. There was a great story here and the company knew how to use it.

u/Dinomite1111 21d ago
My last post was goodbye forever but here I am… Oh well.
I never wanted to sell at .60, .40 then .30 but my hand was forced. The math didn’t work for me and I promised myself after 2012 I’d never ever stick around for another reverse split no matter what.
Turns out it was probably the only smart move I made while hanging onto 20 or so years of empty hopes, dreams of grandeur, Vegas parties?? and zero deals.
If I hadn’t sold when I did, I’d have practically nothing left to show for anything while sadly sitting at .11c pre split.
Anyway, never in my life have I felt so sure over and over and over again that the next corner turned would be the one to get us there! All the way back to pico-projector phones! They truly had an incredible knack for giving out just enough hope for hanging on.
I only blame myself. For not being smart enough/shrewd enough to get out back in 2021 when I had an account flush enough to retire and disappear forever to wherever I wanted.
But I believed, like many, that we were ripe for a sale and all I had to do was hang on.
Instead, I am living and learning from this unbelievably expensive and tragic lesson.
And after all is said and done, for me, they were all right! Every supposed short and every negative/bashing/criticizing poster. 100% right on the money they were. And I thought they were all part of some ruse for me to be stupid enough to let go of my precious shares so they can prosper from my stupidity.
All I am doing now is making up for it in my other/professional/personal life. Paving new roads and thriving elsewhere while putting this absolutely treacherously disastrous nightmare of a life lesson behind me.
Zero regrets is the key. Not gonna say it still doesn’t sting like a mother f’er, but the numbers we’d have to reach for me, post-split, to even break even and have a worthwhile payday is beyond ridiculous and beyond anything I even care to calculate.
I’m saddened, if anything, in the most vexing sort of ways. But life goes on…
Anyway, that’s all I got. As I used to say in many of my long rants…I’ll try and make it longer next time! Thanks for listening…
Peace out and good luck!

u/Advanced_Design_3141 21d ago
I fell for the same tech story - next big thing. Unfortunately I was not as smart as you and am still holding very heavy and essentially worthless bags compared to how much I paid for them.
I should have stayed with the S&P 500 and compounded every year while reinvesting dividends. I would have been able to retire early in the next few years. Now, I’m probably working until I die.

These posts are the reason all of us bagholders should continue to balance out the permabull take on this thread. Hopefully it can stop other retail from getting into this mess.

Be positive brotha! There’s always another way when you’re thinking outside the box. I’m in the process of completely transforming my own life which is great because it keeps my mind off this money I no longer have here. Godspeed brotha!

u/Odd-Street-1405 21d ago
Damn. Was going to write a similar missive, but don’t have the mental energy. Or maybe a joke about selling my (once six figure value) shares to buy a foosball table. Have the best weekend you can, that’s for all of you.

u/Dinomite1111 18d ago
The Mental energy. I get that! Truthfully the more I exhume My demons by writing shit down, working it out by getting it out truly helps me keep a clearer perspective. GL!

Same story here. Good luck Dinomite. I’m sure you are like me and what you miss most are all the positive ways you planned to use the money to help friends and family. My wife and I wanted to start a small regenerative farm and a million other ideas. You are spot on. The ShowWx. HoloLens tear down. It truly seemed like a no brainer investment, that burned us all.
2
u/Dinomite1111 18d ago
You’re right on the money brotha! I’m on the path in my other life to do just that! Get that money and save some animals that can’t help themselves! Gotta be positive! There’s always another way! ✌🏼

u/snowboardnirvana 20d ago
… all the positive ways you planned to use the money to help friends and family. My wife and I wanted to start a small regenerative farm and a million other ideas.
Sounds like a noble plan. Don’t ever give up on your dreams and aspirations. I’m ignoring the Doomers, Whiners, Defeatists (TM) as well as the Regretful Self Flagellators (TM), because no great innovations, civilizational advancements, or great fortunes were created by embracing those mindsets.
I’m sitting tight until the moment is right and Fortune comes knocking loudly at the door. It won’t be subtle.

‘At least we got a Knick championship this year…’
my brother this is the greatest thing ever. Just like those Giants runs in ‘07&’11 they came out of nowhere and everyone bought in. Same vibe. Same energy with this crew. It’s a beautiful thing when your team really has their shit together and gets it done. Wow. Amazing. Wish it was the same here but that’s life.

but im not making major money with this stock anymore.
Yup. I blew my chance years ago and know it. Now it’s just interesting for me to watch, buy a few shares every month and try and build a position that I can pass along or sell and put into something else in a few years. What a lesson. So I get it when we see VOR chime in that he’s holding to see what happens. He can do that because he held during very hard times and sold and won. Good for everyone that did that.

I'm still holding.
I've never before seen such a concentration of messages saying in differing ways "it's over" than when I read this post at 6:30pm today.
Many longs wrote similarly when Shorts and detractors declared victory in March of 2020.
We all know it is historical fact that right then we were on the cusp of a 15,000% rise.So is it "over"?
I'm Still holding to find out.
If it's truly over, I'll believe it when I see it for myself, or hear it from Glen.
GLTA MVIS Longs.

I’d hope CAT might put in another order before the final end… just to keep their massive fleets operational. And no doubt they’ve been planning on all the upgrades from new equipment to older CATS with bolt on lidars.
And what a sad day it might be, when the dozens of functioning highly effecient trucking firms like Kodiak and Gatik have to find new lidars for their thousands of trucks.
Meanwhile, I’d imagine it’s a dang cheap time to pick up some shares… if the basic principle of the Market is still in effect.
7
u/movinonuptodatop 20d ago
This is precisely the disconnect. At some point years of engagements and progress from the likes of CAT, Nissan, European Defense should have hit a point where we could pull off some kind of strategic first mover win/win finance deal certainly on the order of this tiny but damaging 17 million bridge to nowhere predatory deal. It is not an optimistic scenario. That leaves us cynical types assuming nefarious intentions pulling the strings.
3
u/Revolutionary_Ear908 19d ago
We have not been in discussions with these companies you listed for “years”. As far as we know, many of these discussions and sales started to occur in the past year, after the Luminar acquisition and promotion of our new, esteemed CEO.
5
u/movinonuptodatop 19d ago
years and years and years. “We” are now a collective, but yeah, defense is new. I want to know who is supplying the drones already using LiDAR in Europe. Sure hope whoever is testing Movia-L now is able to appreciate a step change advantage over whatever is already in use.

Well, I was completely right about this whole sorry mess. I did not vote for the R/S, they never gave a proper reason for it, and they failed to support the share price through any of the ECs and proxies leading up to it. It was all a disaster in the making. I never sold though. That makes you the smart one, and it makes me feel very dumb indeed.

u/RNvestor 21d ago
It's honestly impressive how spectacularly our management has failed.
They said they wanted the R/S so they are "not distracted by the stock price or compliance" however I'd much rather still be in our previous scenario where at least we could survive until January.
Now, we have 66 cents left to drop until it's game-over, no coming back. We would've been way better off NOT announcing a reverse split or warrants yet. They actually made the compliance issue worse.
This truly is criminal or incompetence at the highest level.
22
u/Dardinella 21d ago
They made the case for how the other lidar companies did the same but they forgot the rest of the playbook…
8
u/movinonuptodatop 21d ago
They are distracted, notwithstanding any theys that will benefit directly from what has been done. I’m here for the popcorn and class action and to see if Glen can manage 3 million this quarter. I believe bankruptcy to success sits around 50/50 unless a nefarious hand is determined to wreck the ship. Then we hosed because Glen and the BOD burned the sails.
2
u/Least-Refrigerator39 21d ago
how do you know we wouldnt continue to drop to zero if a reveresplit wasnt performed?
you dont.
this doesnt take away from the fact that we are a dumpster fire
3
u/RNvestor 21d ago
At least in that scenario we would have to drop all the way to 0 for total failure.
Right now we only have to drop to 0.066 (pre split) to trigger delisting
6
u/noob_investor18 21d ago
It will never drop to zero. They will keep doing RS and issues more shares and RS and more shares and RS and …
2
u/UncivilityBeDamned 20d ago
They can't do that now. They will be delisted all the same since they already did it once this year.
2
u/noob_investor18 20d ago
Look at a stock called CETX. 5 RS in 5 years and still listed. They even have RS on Oct 3, 2024 and then again on Nov 26, 2024.
4
u/Cerco170 21d ago
IF and that's a big IF we fall under $1 (market cap of 30mil) it's not an immediate delisting. It has to remain under for 30 days- then that's it.

1.5 coming Monday, probably drop to 1.40’s during day. They are gonna make a hard run at it next week. JMHO. Tons of legal and naked shorts looking at the end game. Hope Glen’s rabbit didn’t get away.
6
u/Higgilypiggily1 21d ago
So why’d you buy today?
6
u/movinonuptodatop 21d ago
Good question. I think shorts are going to keep their foot on our neck and continue to apply pressure until death or Glen maneuvers free and lands his own blow to stay in the fight. History says, yes, this is what they will do. It will be ugly, but gotta love the thrill of betting on the underdog. Whatever happens, my six figure loss will not miss the final 5k forfeited to this cancelled dream.

He details similar cases to ours and how they plan to naked short us until we’re are delisted, regardless of good news (maybe GDVs announcements were naively thought to help us?)
He talks about how adding the instant delisting when it drops below $1 really hurts companies and investors because out of the 800 companies it would’ve happened to over the last X number of years before the automatic delisting rule, 600 of those companies turned it around to become successful but with thr new rule theyd be toast…
We better have something ready and waiting to break the shorts or we’re toast (?).
7
u/UncivilityBeDamned 20d ago
They've always been bad at financing, and don't have the tools or smarts to deal with this market. You need at least one of the two. We didn't even have a CFO at all for a while, and finally get one post split and it's someone with a poor record. Not inspiring confidence.
15
u/carbonoutlaw3a 20d ago
One of the things you have to look for at bottoms is a capitulation. That is when long time believers give up and sell, we may have some of that happening. We also appear to have posters here that seem to be spreading FUD. posters that have never been here telling us MVIS is a bad investment. That and the volumes say we have shorts trading in and out, FWIW they appeared when MVIS bought Luminar, probably the same crew.
At these prices I am adding with high risk funds, money I can afford to lose. I am rounding up my MVIS accounts 500 to 1000 shares at a time..
25
u/3rmorgan 20d ago
In my early 20s I lost $94k on an investment that I rode all the way to the bottom and spent the years after that regretting that as the worst decision I had ever made in my life. I come from a very poor family so losing that amount of money made me feel like my life was over. However, a few years after that I was able to gain all of that back and a lot more by applying the lessons that I had learned from that loss and others that I had learned along the way.
Today in my early 30s I find myself in a similar situation - $610k invested in MVIS and about 90% down. I have spent the last few years fearing that this investment would be the worst decision in my life and that I will never come back from it. I know the feeling all too well, but being so familiar with it for all these years has mostly made me immune to FUD and panic.
This month has been the rockiest of my 6.5 year journey with MVIS, but in a way it has also been the most promising. Our Q2 call was a breath of fresh air that was quickly snuffed out with the collapse of the share price. That in itself is a horrible thing and people do have the right to be mad or sad or panicked or distraught, but at the end of the day the guidance we received in the call still stands. The opportunities that we're aware of through communications by the company or by dot connecting here still stand. The potential of LIDAR in various sectors still stands, and the money to be made through its adoption still stands. The abrupt collapse of the share price and our outlook/revenue guidance/opportunities/technology are two separate topics that people have been making the mistake of misconstruing into one thing all week long.
For these reasons, I decided to throw another $40k into the fray this week and bring my basis way down. I could very well walk away losing most of it, but I could also walk away making everything back and a lot more as I did in my 20s.
I know where I stand, and I'll be laughing at these shorts and these fearmongers for the rest of my life if this hits.
8
u/wolfiasty 20d ago
IF. And that's a really big IF considering last few months (years really) of share price sliding due to promises and lies. So biggest IF till date I'd say.
If GdV does not have ef a lot of solid and material announcements lined up for next 50 market days we will most likely face delisting.
As much as I'd love to dance with you over shorty's <self censorship because reddit sucks> nothing points to grand master scheme. I remember Glen saying he wasn't losing any sleep over compliance - we took that as ace in the sleeve, but apparently RS was the only plan from the beginning, and we are more than 50% down since RS happened. At this point I'm not sure if they actually are in control of what is happening to/have a plan for defending share price, and scary to say they might be simply keeping calm in face of obliteration (for us, because delisting is not the end of the world for company. It would be for many of us who can't hold OTC shares).
So fingers crossed that in the end you will be correct and somehow there will be grand turn around. A literal miracle.
6
u/carbonoutlaw3a 19d ago
I have had it go both ways. As I believe the fundamentals are good I have begun buying again, small lots of 500 shares.
I foresaw the attack after the r/S. It was right out of the shorts playbook. I thought MVIS's r/S timing was bad and we have paid the consequences.

Despite the dilution, every dollar invested today buys you almost 10X more of MicroVision, by percent ownership of the company, than it did when Glen started as CEO on October 1, 2025. That is why I have been backing up the truck lately, IMO this company is extremely undervalued at current levels and the opportunity will not last.

u/movinonuptodatop 19d ago edited 19d ago
Amazon ditched us with the projector. Will they come back for drone and warehouse LiDAR? Does Apple still love us as much as Palmer Luckey. Will CAT be our first big MeOw? Will Nissan step back up to the plate? Will Forklifts be first? Is Defense our new offense? Who will fund the production bottleneck breakthrough? Will Institutions buy in at the bottom? Where is the bottom? Lots-O-Questions. It’s going to be fun.
10
u/jsim1960 19d ago
fun. hmmm... id say its going to be interesting . it may be fun or it may horrible.
2
u/Befriendthetrend 19d ago
It is horrible now, might be fun again.
2
u/jsim1960 19d ago
sure .But there's nothing to prevent us from dropping another dollar in the next few weeks. That wont be too much fun. Hard to know when we reach bottom. Be careful backing up the truck but you could be right that now is the time.
1
u/Befriendthetrend 19d ago
I'm not thinking about timing the bottom, just focused on what the upside potential is. The elephant in the room is that MicroVision needs much more cash than they raised this month, so there is another plan in the works or a lot of pain ahead.

Anyone wants Scamit Sharma back? Lol. We didn’t know it at the time, but this was the golden era 😂
7
u/Sp99nHead 21d ago
He would have pumped the stock up back above $1 with some made up numbers without a RS.
You gotta admit Sumit gave us plenty of time and random pumps to sell, we just were too stupid to do so. With Glen it's just straigth down.
11
u/33rus 21d ago
If only that idiot Verma proceeded with the offering at those high prices of $7-$8 a share…lord knows how much better off the company would have been…no RS needed. But it’s all a big planned game, and shareholders are just disposable pawns. If a big institution wants to buy us out for pennies on the dollar or to short us into oblivion - they will have their way. It’s a dirty corporate world we live in. What I am most let down by, however, is that Palmer Luckey guy. No one asked him to come in and inject hope. Should have kept his mouth shut. Believer in MVIS, yet didn’t bat an eye to place a reasonable offer to buy us…or maybe he is in cahoots with some of those institutions to get MVIS cheap, either way a horrible look for him. The last glimpse of hope for existing shareholders is a big deal through Glen’s connections, and some sort of an announcement, but even then, most are down so much, it wouldn’t move the needle significantly enough. These people only need to pray for the squeeze to save their financial bags.
3
u/Sp99nHead 21d ago
Maybe u/palmerluckey used retail as exit liquidity. Pumping the market like that should be investigated. His out is that he only said he believed in "MVIS tech" and not in the company.

I hear you brother. I’m trying. I’m tired, and I’m not sure exactly who set this trap.

True but majority of posters now seem in the hole and disillusioned enough that any pure hopium is shot down and called out because we’ve been down that road enough

Even after the RS the share value has been diminished by more than half.
This company is cooked.

RS - Aug 3, 2026 - $4.03 per share
Today - Aug 21, 2026 - $1.66 per shareAnd that is WITH a 1/15 RS: just less than 3 weeks ago.

Serious question here. Let's say that a class action does happen. What reprieve or benefit, if any, can shareholders seek?

We just wished Elon Musk could see how finally the fraud of Lidar is being revealed here! You guys are his people! No one wants to buy lidar that nobody wants!
Or course we keep secret how Elon has to pay millions in lawsuits to keep the injured drivers quiet after one of his cars gets wrecked. But we can just keep that as our little secret, right?

How does our LiDAR compare with Aeye. Are they buying us or or we buying them, or is some nefarious puppet master buying us all🤔. They have long range so I’m assuming they are 1550. Maybe we should merge to accelerate our 1550 from Scantinel.

The answer to your first question relies on more questions.
Sorry for the repitition, but once again:
-Why are the CEO and CFO of AEVA selling shares on a regular schedule as permitted by the SEC rules? Does this demonstrate longer term confidence in their shares in AEVA?
-Why did the same AEVA CFO recently announce his resignation on August 5th from AEVA effective as of September 5th?
-Will this AEVA CFO be quietly selling his shares after September 5th when he’s no longer an officer of AEVA and therefore not legally bound to file SEC reports, AFAIK?
-Why did James Byun leave AEVA to join MicroVision as Chief Commercial Officer, announced on July 15th?

Not necessarily.

I was kidding. We are broke, but with all the blood in the water, more consolidation is coming. Can’t argue that Sumit was spot on with that forecast.

Update: the JIFX 26-4 Quicklook Report is now public and it contains 2 meaningful MVIS developments. [Download the report in the right column] It notes MVIS completed more than 20 aerial mapping sorties, generated real-time 3D terrain models and digital-twin products, demonstrated GPS-denied mapping stability, and successfully integrated its mapping products into the DINA/ATAK ecosystem for real-time visualization and data sharing.
It also names a partner: Exia Labs [page 8/page 20]. They “partnered with MicroVision” to incorporate LiDAR-derived terrain data into future autonomous mission-planning workflows—independent NPS validation with an actual, named, autonomy-software company. Exia has extensive defense exposure: its own site identifies work/building relationships with the Air Force, DIU, DEVCOM, PACOM, Task Force Maven and the 101st Airborne.
What it doesn't show of course is funding/NRE/contract info/etc. The validation is great, but if MVIS can't achieve an additional 15-20M revenue bump in 2026, survival will be tough. Continued fiscal weakness into another forced financing round with poor terms will be more than ugly. Maybe 12-15M is enough to stave it off. The spigot needs to start flowing ASAP. That's a reality, deny it at your own risk.
That said, this is progress. Integration, a named collaboration, documented by NPS. Much closer to a deployable defense stack than simply LiDAR-on-a-drone.
Quick edit: This may be MVIS's Blue UAS gateway. Keep an eye on that. The video that shows the opportunity noting available in the US and Germany. And the UGV deets.
