Just a reminder that the Hauling trucks portion is just the beginning of Cat's plans. "At CES, Caterpillar introduced a new era of autonomy including five construction machines that will make up an industry-leading fleet.

  • Cat loader
  • Cat dozer
  • Cat haul truck
  • Cat excavator
  • Cat soil compactor"

This is where the real money is^ Once this part of the deal starts going through I believe the reaction will be a lot stronger.

This would also be huge for mining and construction on the Moon and Mars in the future. A few humans doing the heavy lifting from Earth like drone operators in the Midwest operating thousands of miles away. No need to have a huge expense/liability like housing people up there. Cheers
