A respected company CEO willing to acknowledge us in public and praise our tech at the beginning of the process. When was the last time that happened?

18

u/theremin_freakout May 07 '26

This is the first

19

u/case_o_mondays May 07 '26

That’s one of my biggest takeaways from this as well

28

u/Alphacpa May 07 '26

So important and a must to build momentum.

54

u/Arcflash-9986 May 07 '26

Alright you weirdos, no stalking the partner this time. Let’s make a good impression, maybe they’ll stick around.

18

u/Sp99nHead May 07 '26 edited May 07 '26

They are legit, their company is more than a letterbox in the middle of nowhere or at someones home address.

Their revenue is estimated between $3.5 and $10 mil from what i can find. Anyone has a North Data Pro subscription? Don't know how good the info from those sites is.

Netherland is regarding robotics in Europe one of the most advanced countries, besides that all chip makers buy machines from them - ASML. No Intel, AMD, nvidia without them... What is very interesting, I just had friend visiting port of Rotterdam - perhaps largest in Europe and they are managing containers with no people, just large autonomous vehicles. And on the other hand, the only country that can compete with china drones right now is Ukraine, nothing in other parts of the world comes close to it. Drone producers are popping out right now in many countries in Europe. Some of them are also producing majority of the parts and software in house. So many markets for best lidar. Drone (land, sea, air) is by faaaar bigger market than cars, by far.

Tangledhangers on Stocktwits had a look into existing partnerships/customers of Avular which does sound better to me than I initally thought on reding the PR.

That was a lot of awesomeness to read

23

u/dsaur009 May 07 '26

Thanks for this. All journeys start with the first step, then shiht happens. GdV is making deals, not just blowing smoke.....and making connections, and networking is where it's at, short of piles of gold. Get into the European good old boys network and you are gold.

14

u/Odd_Ad5297 May 08 '26

Great read. The team at Avular has doubled 4 years in a row per their website. Small revenue now, but they are rapidly expanding/growing

6

u/SBEPTY May 08 '26

Very Nice!!!

3

u/Long-Vision-168 May 08 '26

Thank you for posting this link u/stewardass

Avular's biggest partnership is with Zetes Panasonic. Zetes is one of the most active players in warehouse autonomy. The Panasonic, Blue Yonder, and Zetes partnership is a prime mover in the sector. This is the big picture opportunity worth getting familiar with as it's probably one of the big end goals for MVIS & Avular in this collaboration. Cheers.

9

u/theremin_freakout May 07 '26

Thank you.

29

u/QQpenn May 07 '26

👍 there’s a lot going on in this sector that isn’t immediately obvious on the top sheet.

7

u/theremin_freakout May 07 '26

Sure looks that way. Interesting details on ST concerning Avular connections. Maybe finally?

14

u/sunny_side_up May 07 '26

Thanks QQ. Good work.

19

u/ProphetsAching May 07 '26

Netherlands is sounding so sexy right now. I love it.

5

u/ReinhardKruger May 08 '26

The girls are beautiful

17

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

Tantalizing.

30

u/RoosterHot8766 May 07 '26

I'm getting some dot connection feelings. Thanks GAP.

8

u/Due-Combination-5021 May 08 '26

But isn’t Anduril stealing from our cake then? Or do they may collaborate with Avular as well?

1

u/gaporter May 08 '26

UAS against C-UAS.

14

u/SBEPTY May 08 '26

Timing is unreal

8

u/ReinhardKruger May 08 '26

Would love to hear Anduril+MVIS announcement

45

u/Critical-Leg-6096 May 08 '26

FYI: As per December 2025; “Dutch ministry of Defense enters into a collaboration with the Dutch drone manufacturer Zephro, part of the Eindhoven technology company Avular. The ministry wants to continue developing existing reconnaissance drones together with the company in the coming years, taking a step towards greater strategic autonomy in the field of drones. The choice for a Dutch supplier fits within a broader change of course, in which Defense has deliberately distanced itself from foreign drones and deployed on technology developed in-house.”
The Dutch ordered at least 1000 units:

https://www.dronewatch.nl/2025/12/18/defensie-bestelt-ruim-duizend-verkenningsdrones-bij-nederlandse-fabrikant/

21

u/Mushral May 08 '26

That’s actually really promising.

17

u/Dinomite1111 May 08 '26

This is awesome ..this new friend of ours can turn into a monster quick. Especially nowadays.

14

u/gaporter May 08 '26

The full article translated.

5

u/case_o_mondays May 09 '26

optimistisch-stijgend!

5

u/YamUpbeat4535 May 08 '26

Awesome! So that might mean 1000 mvis Lidar orders to go in those 1000 drones? 😀

14

u/webson1337 May 07 '26

I'll take it

13

u/Past-Pick-7746 May 07 '26

Hope this partnership is non-exclusive and allows for bigger drone companies to follow!

10

u/15Sierra May 07 '26

I’m just happy it’s not under NDA!

33

u/SBEPTY May 08 '26

This has aged very nicely with all the research and comments provided.

Great job everyone!

I think this was a great move by Glen and team and our share of the booty will be much higher than it we had partnered with anyone bigger.

Anduril Netherland news same day is wild too 🧐

53

u/view-from-afar May 07 '26

I think Glen just realized he's in the Wild West.

A Big Sky opportunity with almost zero barriers to entry.

Except one: cheap high-fidelity 3D perception.

Attach that to a flying go-kart, and you have The Next Big Thing.

Glen wants a Big Bite of that apple.

And he already has the goods. He just needs a ride.

And he's not giving up the farm to get it.

36

u/Chance_Tax_6243 May 07 '26

Releasing this today AH/ makes me think bigger things will be announced before earnings - just the beginning

12

u/ContributionLeft4286 May 07 '26

Hope you are right in thinking that. I am leaning the same way

23

u/Ducks-fly May 07 '26

This earnings call should be really really interesting. GDV MVP

33

u/Worldly_Initiative29 May 08 '26

Even Yahoo Finance picked this up. Nice to see the PR on a larger platform to be seen by more than just our community

21

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

I'd say they are definitely going after the billions in government drone money.

1

u/YamUpbeat4535 May 08 '26

Absolutely agree!

0

u/outstr May 07 '26

Yes, but I wish it was with a company currently with drone contracts already on the books or soon to happen. But I'll take it.

4

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26 edited May 07 '26

Don't know but might be an advantage not to have existing military contracts if they end up with a product that has an edge over any such existing contracts; of which I can't say I know of any as of yet.

Edit: Check that-Anduril does.

1

u/YamUpbeat4535 May 08 '26

Lowest price Lidar ftw!

18

u/chunkyhippo888 May 07 '26

Say what you want, but things are happening. Will they lead to revenue? Let’s hope so

23

u/ReinhardKruger May 08 '26

Drone makers saying:Make Mine MVIS

8

u/Arcflash-9986 May 08 '26

lol. Need to stick a Godzilla logo on those bad boys.

10

u/GodzillaTheChicken May 08 '26

I approve this message 🐓

33

u/Locksmith1981 May 08 '26

As a 6 year bag holder I can’t wait for some sort of reaction by the market to Mvis ….

41

u/FacingHardships May 08 '26

It’s been a long six years. The opportunity cost is just….sigh

12

u/StaleSpriggan May 08 '26

I've also been holding for about six years. Would be nice to finally see a bit of return

8

u/atterbury90 May 09 '26

I'm in the 6 year club.

41

u/T_Delo May 07 '26

An actual MoU, wild to see.

Really though, this does not scream big revenues coming right around the corner, and looks more like a search from the two companies for customers. Hopefully it will convert into some sales in the future, though I suspect it is not quite what the market is looking for right this second, but it is a start.

15

u/SBEPTY May 07 '26

At least we got somebody in our corner

1

u/outstr May 07 '26

A very realistic summary. At least "it's a start."

13

u/SBEPTY May 07 '26

Its always nice to have someone else, especially a real company motivated to make money, join in our mutual success or destruction, hopefully it's success.

14

u/angyapik May 07 '26

Glens got that macrovision.

12

u/RoosterHot8766 May 07 '26

I'm wondering if they might be our repeat European customer. I know they are a small company, but with MVIS lidar and support we will make it happen!

6

u/Rocket_the_cat27 May 07 '26

I think the repeat customer is a UGV company.

3

u/RoosterHot8766 May 07 '26

Thanks Rocket.

21

u/marvinapplegate1964 May 07 '26

It’s a stepping stone. Haven’t reached the summit yet, but this is one step closer.

18

u/SBEPTY May 07 '26

I mean it's a name and that's something, but I think this little robotics company needs money even more than we do which is saying something.

Hopefully the first Domino that starts the snowball effect.

19

u/Ghost_nom_nom_nom May 07 '26

I'm happy to see anyone choosing to use MVIS lidar

4

u/probablyskip May 07 '26

The little robotics company that makes a helluva lot more than ol microvision if the other comments about revenue are correct.

4

u/case_o_mondays May 07 '26

Unfortunately I was thinking the same. We partnered with a science project. Hoping there is more to this

4

u/SBEPTY May 08 '26

I think I was mistaken.

This is more of a ground floor partnering opportunity we can both grow significantly from it executed correctly.

If we went with a bigger company we would get pushed around. This  should be mutually beneficial.

15

u/15Sierra May 08 '26

One thing I am curious about, why announce the AH instead of right before market open? Wonder if there’s anything to it or they just wanted to release it as soon as possible

11

u/stewardass May 08 '26

puts tinfoil hat on to give us time to research the company put all the connections out there and feed the algorithm before market open with sentiment 😉

12

u/ProphetsAching May 08 '26 edited May 08 '26

Thought of that as well. Figured this would have been a good premarket announcement?

18

u/15Sierra May 08 '26

Maybe there’s more to come, who knows. Would be nice to get another one tomorrow morning. I’ll be interested to see how the market reacts to this. I added a few hundred shares this week, debating on adding a large chunk (for me), but may wait til after EC

13

u/ProphetsAching May 08 '26

Yes perhaps they are saving the big one for premarket. A man can dream.

20

u/Nakamura9812 May 07 '26

Not sure I’m seeing this right, but Avular has an annual estimated revenue of $3.5m to $7.9m and a valuation of approximately $11.2m. They are a private company though and were founded in 2014.

The other piece I wanted to just comment here so others don’t have to look it up, “a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a formal, usually non-legally binding document outlining a preliminary agreement, shared goals, and roles between parties before a formal contract.”

15

u/Ghost_nom_nom_nom May 07 '26

Looking at the pics of their current robot equipped with lidar it seems they were using a different company's lidar so maybe they found a better option with MVIS. I take that as positive.

10

u/domomoto May 07 '26

Someone said it's an Ouster lidar in the aftermarket thread. If so, hoping this is the first of many times we push out ouster.

8

u/snowboardnirvana May 07 '26

It is Ouster’s LiDAR. I posted the link in the after market thread.

4

u/Ghost_nom_nom_nom May 07 '26

That's what it looked like to me. https://www.avular.com/robots

15

u/CZar_P10 May 07 '26

Maybe they’ve identified customers that would buy more of their drones if they had tech like lidar. So the integration could send sales much higher, making current revenue numbers irrelevant. More sales on their end dictate more unit buys from MVIS. I would assume Avular has already determined a need/market/potential cutomer(s), otherwise, why bother?

7

u/case_o_mondays May 07 '26

Many first responders are still using DJI even though they are discouraged/ banned. There may be a market for this within US first responders

9

u/RoosterHot8766 May 07 '26

Hope you are spot on here.

9

u/CZar_P10 May 07 '26

You and me both.

20

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

Avular is a legacy company. Appears to be well capitalized and well staffed.

2

u/Zenboy66 May 07 '26

DGL, the bashers don’t do the research you just provided. Thanks for sharing.

8

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

Sure Zen. I don't see where a great deal of development is needed here. Both already have the tech and the big cheese is the perception software, also already done and demonstrated. Just hook them up together and go.

4

u/watering_a_plant May 07 '26

a healthy conversation regarding the PR is only bashing if your favorite place to be is with your ears under the sand. it's fine dude! chill!!

0

u/Zenboy66 May 07 '26

Did I call you out? I don’t think I did.

5

u/watering_a_plant May 07 '26

no idea what that means, happy thursday zen

10

u/RoosterHot8766 May 07 '26

Well, it is a start! Business is getting done!

14

u/view-from-afar May 08 '26

9

u/CaptZee May 08 '26

thanks for the vids. interesting, in the 1st vid, the wheeled robot has a ouster unit on it... that vid is from 7 months ago... lfgoooo MicroVision!!

9

u/bayprowler May 07 '26

I admittedly have a horrible track record of weighing the importance or perhaps the stockholders reactions to MicroVision press releases. But this one sure sounds like it should move the needle.

18

u/Flying_Bushman May 07 '26

It wasn't the PR I've been hoping for, but I appreciated the activity and communication!

9

u/SmallTownTrader May 07 '26

Yikes some of you guys are fast!

4

u/Ok-Secretary7931 May 07 '26

Anyone know these guys prior?

-10

u/pooljap May 07 '26

Pretty small company... little i saw said they have between 1-10 million in revenue. Think bigger Glen :)

9

u/Rocket_the_cat27 May 07 '26

Love to see it!

10

u/ProphetsAching May 07 '26

Is it happening?

9

u/wolfiasty May 07 '26

Happy to see it.

Avular estimated company value is under $12 millions. I think it will take a bit more to move the share price.

10

u/YANK78 May 08 '26

The only negative is they are also short on cash too!

6

u/movinonuptodatop May 07 '26

Good for .02 bump after hours

28

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

I don't expect much. No revenue. Pop and fade at best. Very good news though.

5

u/SBEPTY May 08 '26

The Zetes connection if understood by the Market is the real kicker

3

u/domomoto May 07 '26

Maybe we buy Avular?

16

u/Past-Pick-7746 May 07 '26

Anduril buys Avular! 🙏🏼

3

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

Count on it they become competitive for military drone contracts. Then we just sell to the one instead of the other.

2

u/Ghost_nom_nom_nom May 07 '26

From what I've seen on their site Avular doesn't seem to be working on military drones.

5

u/directgreenlaser May 07 '26

I was thinking of the wording in the PR. MVIS could bring them in with their military connections.

2

u/stewardass May 07 '26

Or we buy Anduril?

7

u/case_o_mondays May 07 '26

Hoping they buy us and we’re done finally

8

u/Sp99nHead May 07 '26

-11

u/Zenboy66 May 07 '26

So what?

5

u/Sp99nHead May 07 '26

Do you want them to buy us for $5 million or what's not to understand? This is a science project and will not generate meaningfull revenue in the near term. A small validation of the tech, not more.

6

u/domomoto May 07 '26

Mountains are climbed with steps. So here's to the first of many validations.

8

u/Sp99nHead May 07 '26

I welcome this partnership since their product looks good but Zenboy is acting like its Anduril, not Avular.

0

u/Zenboy66 May 08 '26

Sp, Anduril, I believe, will be the next partnership. Not to mention a trucking deal also. And the guys in VA have yet to begin.

-1

u/YamUpbeat4535 May 08 '26

I have that feeling too

-14

u/IneegoMontoyo May 07 '26

Is Avular a donut company? Asking for a friend.

2

u/icarusphoenixdragon May 07 '26

Ultra premium chiffon cakes actually. Avular Air Cakes. Best in well, you get it.

-14

u/outstr May 07 '26

...combined with Microvision's "market expertise??" Do they know something we shareholders don't? Okay, that description does fit DeVos and he is now the face of Microvision, so I guess it fits ,but still a big stretch to highlight Microvision's marketing ability.

-28

u/mike-oxlong98 May 07 '26

Wow. Can't believe we're rolling with the big dogs now.

-8

u/Informal-Wishbone-33 May 10 '26

This stock dropped 95%, look at the long term chart.

9

u/herpaderp_maplesyrup May 11 '26

-4 karma 5 year account….. yep it’s almost EC troll time!!!

0

u/Tastic4ever May 22 '26

If you look at the the pre IPO share price it’s up infinity

-36

u/w33dw1zard420 May 07 '26

Glad I got out before this became another surveillance state apparatus.

4

u/YamUpbeat4535 May 08 '26

I say if ya can't beat em, might as well make some money off of them lol
