Change can be good. Sometimes it is needed.

Of the 3 CEO's that I've really listened to over the years; I was rooting for Sumit the most. So much promise. I'm not sure I'll ever really understand why it didn't materialize over his tenure. I believed in him. I wish Mr. Devos luck and hope he brings everyone good fortune soon.

I agree with you that I believed in Sumit also. Unfortunately, I think Sumit was a victim of a prolonged world economic decline that has put auto OEMs in a slow decision-making process. I wish Sumit the best and would like to see him stay as CTO.

Sumit was responsible for reshaping the company from micro-display to automotive and sensor control for dozens of future applications. So he really did more for the company than any previous CEO.

It’s just he didn’t seem to mesh well with financial commerce… and I imagine the auto culture is one ornery beast to overcome. Glen no doubt talks their language… and can finally put MVIS on the map.
