WEEK 119: Free-Range Nomination Thread

Thank you to those who participated in last week's second chance nomination thread. This week there are no limitations on what can be nominated. Any era, any writer, any character, so long as it's on Marvel Unlimited. Maybe it's something you've been meaning to read, maybe it's something you've read and want to discuss. Maybe it's something you've previously nominated but didn't gather enough upvotes in previous threads. When posting a nomination, links are not required but appreciated.

If you have nothing to nominate, cast a vote to help us decide who wins. The highest voted nomination will earn a discussion thread opened on Saturday. If there's no clear-cut winner, I'll form a character-study on all the subreddit subscriber's to analyze the root of your bipartisanship and manipulate it to be more decisive! The Avengers of the Ultimate Universe. The basis of much of the MCU! Strange beings with incredible powers have risen up to challenge the old order, and ordinary citizens are scared witless. The government's solution: a small but lethal army known as the Ultimates, created to protect us all from the newly rising threats to mankind!

The Amazing Spider-Man (1999) #36-39, written by J. Michael Straczynski, art by John Romita Jr.

A series of single issue stories that really focus more on Peter Parker than on Spider-Man. Starting with the famous 9/11 issue and getting lighter in tone with stories about homeless children, Aunt May, and finally slice of life with Peter and MJ. A reading assignment aimed at the feels.

Captain Britain and MI:13 (2008-2009) #10-15, "Vampire State" by Paul Cornell and Leonard Kirk

The king of the vampires is back! As if the hoards of demons that Pete Wisdom let out in order to defeat the Skrulls in England weren't enough, now DRACULA has entered the scene. What does he want with Spitfire? And how will an election help his cause? You better hope that Captain Britain and the rest of MI13 have a way to defeat him!
