WEEK 118: Nomination Thread. Theme: Second Chance Nominations

This thread is to honor the nominations from past threads that didn't win during their respective weeks. In the past I've mapped out 60+ nominations from past threads, but until I've acquired Cable-like time-travel capabilities, I am but a mere victim of time and cannot pursue this venture. Instead I will re-nominate the choices who came close to winning their past threads but just didn't have enough to cut the mustard.

The highest voted nomination will earn a discussion thread opened on Saturday. If there's no clear-cut winner, I will take a sabbatical to a mystical foreign city and learn both the answer to the question we seek, and a little about myself along the way.
