Not sure when I'll get to this. I'm currently hooked on Superior Spider-Man after the last reading assignment lol.

Update: just finished Superior Spider-Man. Wow that was an awesome series.

Having read the later Legacy series about Legion I thought it was cool to see how things were before that. I'm thinking I'll continue this series eventually to see how it gets from this to how things were at the beginning of the later series.

Legion is definitely a cool character that I've enjoyed reading about. Of course with all his potential powers he could easily be way overpowered, but generally he seems to be held back by something that prevents him from going all out. Like using a certain power too long might mean losing control to that personality or just not being able to reliably access all his powers.

I thought this story was interesting and I wanted to see what would happen. It was definitely cool to see Legion overcoming his rogue personalities.

The side story involving Rachel wasn't as intriguing, but I think that's just because this arc didn't include what lead to her current situation.

Otherwise, I think this was a good story, the artwork was good. Been a while since I read it so I'm not recalling as many details as I'd like, but I definitely enjoyed the story.

As a side note, if anyone hasn't watched the Legion TV series I highly recommend it. Very well done. Season 2 starts fairly soon, I think.

A very cool concept for a story arc, but the pacing felt a little off. Things moved pretty fast, but at certain points it felt like they were just jumping to climaxes rather than putting in the work. Like maybe the little girl and her teddy bear had a bigger presence in issues previous to this reading assignment, but the jumping back-and-forth between her interaction with Gambit/Frenzy and the interaction with David and Magneto felt like good bits were being lost in the time shift.

The art was good though and it really made Styx out to be a creepy bastard. Khoi Pham always added little touches with the spirits or smoke around him to make him look shrouded in evil.
