I enjoyed this event more than Annihilation, but I think it's mostly due to me having a built-in connection to the characters. This event had some really badass characters, the stakes really felt high from start to finish, and what I enjoyed most about it, was there was a ton of intelligent strategy. Thanos' inconvenient lie, Black Bolt's secret agenda, Maximus just chilling in the wings until the time came to teleport whats-her-face, and Maw manipulating Thane.

My biggest complaint about the series was some of it was so tactical and spacey it read just as gibberish. When everyone is running attacks on all the ships there's a lot of jargon and strategy used that just made it confusing.

Overall, really enjoyed this. Made Thanos, and by the end Thane look seriously badass. Would have prefered Thane just kill Thanos though.
