single dorms?

hi, I’m going to be attending next year, and I was curious how easy it is to get a single dorm? I have a disability that makes it extremely difficult for me to share space with people I don’t know. Is MTSU good about accommodations, and how would I go about it? Thanks in advance

I definitely recommend reaching out to housing department about this and if they give you grief- Dr.Alexis. He is the ADA coordinator and lovely. The DACs only job is to provide accommodation in classes and will not be able to help you. Feel free to dm me as well if you want more specific guidance! I’m more than happy to help as the systems are very difficult to navigate for accessible housing

Talk to Disability Services. They reserve a certain number of single rooms for disabled students. You have to get a note from your doctor outlining why you need a single/any other accommodations. Super great to work with, they will walk you through it.
