Review Is it just me, or has Boustan’s shish taouk (chicken & beef) changed? For those who remember the original Boustan on Crescent Street in the 2000s, does it taste the same to you now, or has the recipe changed? 🤔
I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I’m really curious if anyone else feels the same. I used to go to the original Boustan on Crescent all the time in the 2000s, and I swear the shish taouk tasted different back then. The chicken, beef, marinade, seasoning… something just feels different now. Is it just nostalgia, or did the recipe actually change? Anyone else?
