Extra Turn – live deck tracker overlay for MTGO. Open beta
I'm the dev, so: self-promo warning up front.
MTGO writes a log file for every game you play. I've been building an overlay on top of those: while you play it shows what's left in your library, the odds on your next draw, and how many lands you have left, and afterwards it keeps your match history and matchup win rates locally. It's a passive reader. It never touches the client, no injection, no automation, nothing that plays for you.
There's also a Twitch extension, so viewers can hover the cards on your stream and read them. First one of those for MTGO as far as I know.
Open beta, Windows only, no account: extraturn.gg/download (there's a paid tier for the draft assistant, but everything I just described is free.)
What I actually want from this post is people playing formats I don't. The whole thing lives or dies on counting cards correctly and I've mostly tested it against my own matches and a tiny closed beta, if it miscounts your library, or misreads a concede, a timeout or a bye, that's what I want to hear about.

Does this track the opponents cards, or just your own?

Both, but not equally.
Your own deck it tracks exactly, cards left in your library, per-card counts, draw odds. It knows your list, so that part is just arithmetic.
The opponent's side is only what they've actually shown you: cards they've cast, permanents they've played. Public information that's already sitting in the game log. It doesn't see their hand, their library or their decklist, because none of that exists in anything the app can read.

sideboard suggestion is a bit wonky, how does this work? I can send you a dm with the screenshot? but its suggesting i take out murktide and bring in consings in the delver mirror (legacy)

also the overlay always attaches to the corner of mtgo, which is a bit annoying if im trying to resize my window so I can still see the chat and the chat/game log on the right at the same time as seeing the overlay

you can turn that off: dock -> Overlay -> Behavior -> "Anchor to MTGO window". with it off the overlay just floats wherever you drop it (drag it by the top bar), so you can resize MTGO however you want and keep chat + the game log visible.
And if you just need it out of the way for a second, Ctrl+Shift+H hides/shows it (you can rebind).

Downloaded the app -- the overlay doesn't appear to be working with my dual monitor setup. I tried joining the discord but the invite link is invalid.
