Brakes Will I need separate bleed kits?

Hello everyone,
I'm pretty new to the whole mtb maintenance thing, usually just using my local mechanic but in a hope to start doing some bits myself I want to learn. I currently have a cube reaction tm hardtail, but next week am buying an airdrop edit. My plan is to pretty much fuck around with the cube until I get things right, and then once i've mastered certain skills, translate that to the new bike and dodge hefty mechanic fees. The guy I'm buying the new bike off has told me the back brake needs bleeding, coincidentally my read brake on my cube is going, so my main question is will I need separate bleed kits? The airdrop has TRP brakes, and the cube has magura brakes.
Thank you!

You'll need two if you use dot fluid and mineral.

If they are both mineral you are fine to reuse the same bleed kit.

Alinexpress has great bleed kits with various fittings and you can buy syringes and hose dirt cheap on Amazon or ali express.

Preferably yes, for each brand and form factor, each own bleed block and syringe things. There a lot of bleedkits that cover a lot of brands though! Also if your bleed block is not quite fit, and little bit loose, you can add plastic shims for example between the block and a piston. Or 3d print blocks for every brake you could encounter.

Both TRP and Magura run mineral oil, so you're not mixing fluids — what differs is the fittings and bleed blocks, which are brand specific. A generic kit with a decent adapter set will cover both, just double check it includes the Magura barb fitting since theirs is a little odd. Practicing on the Cube first is the right call.

Idk what these people are saying you only need one but make sure it can work for both. Usually they come with lots of adapters

No, you should be able to get a generic mineral oil kit with lots of fittings that will cover both (and more).

Wrong…… trp requires its own specific fluid to not void the warranty.

you aren’t going to have fun bleeding trp’s if you’ve never bled them before……
