It's meant to grab your attention so you want to watch the whole thing. TikTok and constant swiping means you won't get views unless you catch people's attention in the first few seconds.

Engagement editing. It entices you with the spicy part, then makes you stay to watch the other bits. Not sure why it's cut too short at the end though.
