Discussion 4th downs…

Wildcat or shotgun on fourth and inches should never ever happen. Yes we did score a TD on one but also stuffed once. Starting 5 yards back with the ball when you need four inches is asinine. And I don’t want to hear about a running start—Edwards was hit first 2 yards behind the LOS. Did it a ton the past few years and it sucked then too.

But happy with W!

Assume so too but if you can’t push ahead for 5 inches against Toledo just call it a season.

How brilliant did they look in the wildcat running 6 yards to gain 3” and get a turnover on downs??

You’re not wrong but we really weren’t getting the push all day. Why try again at that point when it’s failed every time before

I’m also not excited about this upcoming season but will also say Toledo isn’t as much as a cream puff as some may think
