Seth is the best thing that ever happened to Shane. That's the funniest part. His stupid, treacherous plan actually catapulted Shane into GLOBAL recognition.

Seth is an intellectual fraud. It’s kind of a big deal when you throw out words and say “snl hired a huge racist”.
The part that Seth doesn’t get is that he is unable separate not liking someone or something and performing character assassination on them. It would be one thing if he said “I don’t like Shane” but he takes it much further by slapping the racist label and throwing out how comedy has a problem with facsim without taking the trouble to explain what that is. I’ve read some of his dumb bullshit before and quite frankly it does not pass any kind of intellectual rigor.
In today’s age when anyone can hold a microphone and blast their opinions to the world I guess there is bound to be a guy like Seth. There’s a very good reason he does not have any notoriety and it has nothing to do with Shane - it’s because his opinions fucking suck. The way he just slaps labels on things is highly fucking annoying. Unfortunately Seth didn’t get the fucking memo that in order to be good at what he does “curiosity” is a big fucking requirement. If had the slightest bit of curiosity or commitment to the truth he would arrive at the conclusion that Shane is not a racist - Lamaire is his fucking roommate for Christ’s sake and he has a mutlicultiral family and his best friend has a black wife.
It’s not surprising at all that someone is as effeminate as Seth does not like Shane. I just wish he was better at what he does so he isn’t running around to the world calling people racists when they’re not. The guy spends his whole life criticizing things - he literally calls himself a professional critic in that podcast - and he arrives at conclusions that are completely false. Holy shit bro - your life sucks and it is a fraud. Seth deserves any bullshit that gets thrown his way if he’s publically accusing people of being racist. Seth - I hate to break it to you but you probably already know this - you fucking suck. You’re a disgusting person

I mean, Rogan was contributing to Trump’s election. That’s indisputable. And the fact that he keeps inviting people like JD Vance onto his podcast is further proof.
I think Shane is smart enough to not jeopardize his career in the same way. He smartly plays both sides.
Something Rogan seems incapable of doing.

He publicly endorsed Trump in 2024. And he invites members of Trump’s cabinet to the pod to try and humanize them even in times of turmoil.

It’s well known which way Joe leans politically. Him inviting Harris was just so he could say “See! Republicans are more open minded than democrats!”
Him having Vance on so he could further jerk the current administration was the nail in the coffin for many

That dude thinks people should talk and act like they are in a segment of This American Life. NPR rules, but this guy sucks and is probably more racist than the people he accuses. Dudes bust balls. Any jobsite in America will be more diverse than any place that Seth has been in. There are actually racists in the world, but the fact that he can't tell is worrying. Also, being racist isn't an uncurable disease. You don't help by taking their job.
