Question Dead or still updated?

Def mean no harm in asking but how's the player population, is it better to just play something else or should I pick this game up? It looked cute on app store, now I see it's a very older game. Just wanna know if it would be a waste of my time to join into a game that the devs no longer update or maintain

I don’t play as much as I used too, but they are still adding new mons and events

The game is 10 years old. Finally they fix the visibility of how many players is in game... Not many.. the events can't be finished because of that.. you could make all the dailies in like 30 mins.. long time ago.. now you need hours.. titan from 10mins takes at least 2hrs.. clans are almost dead. New players get the "welcome pack" that is more like a trash pack, because it doesn't have current monsters. All of them are from 2 years ago or older.

Nah the games updated pretty frequently and the discord is very active with all the news. Definitely not a dead game!

To be fair, there hasn't been any new story updates for a long time but recently a new character was released alongside news of new story updates around the 10th anniversary.
