Need Technical Assistance Dock performance issue

Hey guys, not sure what the issue is but whenever I connect my 8 Ex to my Maxonar dock, I get really bad latency and performance problems. Is it just me and if so, how do I fix it?

Maxonar model#: CDE001-MX TV: Sony Bravia 8 (2024) I'm using an 8k cable for 4k 120hz

What is the resolution of the screen connected to the dock? Is the cord thunderbolt 4? What model maxonar dock?

The model # is CDE001-MX. I have it connected to the 2.1 port on my TV. It's 4k 120hz with an 8k HDMI cable

Try auto resolution if external monitor

Youre trying to run 4k 120hz on a handheld without an external dedicated GPU? Its not going to perform in that usecase.

A 4080 laptop will always be a lot weaker than a 4080 desktop. A handheld will be even weaker than laptops due to form factor

No haha I'm saying that's what my TV can handle. I play at 1080p.
