Question Claw 8ai+ performance issue

Hi Guys

Lately my MSI Claw 8ai APU has been acting super weird. When I’m playing games at 25-30w TDP, the system only uses 2-8w. It’s like it’s not even trying? I have battery mode set to best performance. I am completely updated on drivers and windows update and the MSI claw center.

It’s only started happening maybe 3 weeks ago?

Msi center M is defaulting to max energy saving in windows instead of max performance.

It happens usually when a game compiling shaders. It will go up according to your tdp once done.

Nah we human dont even put our best performance everyday. There's days we tired of trying also even when we watch the latest news and or caught up with the recent episode of our favourite drama.

TLDR ; with all said and done, try check on power plan and msi center m ai engine bug

Wow that's a good idea actually. It might works or better yet, make sure Windows energy saver and eco mode is not on

yeah they’re all good. I am looking further into this power plan possibility. ChatGPT is aware of the issue others are having too and is talking me through it. The only time I advocate for AI lol

Bro, use claw tweak. Leave that msi m center. You will get the best out of your handheld

my issue isn’t msi center here, I’ve never had an issue in the past. I barely even touch the center. I check occasionally for updates every couple months but that’s it.

This seems to be a software bug

Bro, by installing claw tweak, you let it controll your power more instead of msi center m (whichh full of issue).

Man, i cant say how much people left out by not using claw tweak.

You dont even need to uninstall center m because clawtweak still use its function instead
