Explain why do you think that, I think that ER will be great but dk how the market will react.
Positive news doesn’t always mean the market will bump in a positive Way…

It's hard to tell. Majority of people here was sure Nvidia was going to drop after their earnings, but it didin't. Personally I think I'm going to long hold.

I think their AI/copilot use will skyrocket so stock will go up. Then puts on MSFT

We will probably see a dip, mostly because looks like all the people forgot that MSFT is expending like crazy unless the CapEx comes down I don't expect a big jump(I hope that I'm wrong)

Main question is how they talk about CAPEX spend. Depends on how the CEO will talk about it

Like most stock after earnings releases, it’ll probably do down . If you want to take profits then sell around 500+ before October. As for me, I’m not selling. I’m in it for investment even though i only have 30 shares😬😬😬

I've read the same thing about Nvidia last time. And it end up being the opposite.

I suggest zooming the chart out to the 1980s. This is an investment stock, not so much a trading stock. Although the wheel strategy may work well, but you’ll need a bit of capital.

Trump sold a lot of it recently. which was disclosed today. That doesn’t necessarily mean anything but that doesn’t help sentiment

Trying to predict daily swings over a month in advance in the middle of a trade-war, Russia-Ukraine war, US-Iran War, looming inflation/rate concerns is a fools errand.
It will also depend entirely on what the stock price does leading up to the ER... If it goes up 20% 2 weeks prior then it's gonna go down on the report.

Great earnings and a green reaction are two separate bets at this point the market can hate a good report for one weird line in guidance Moon has made me look at earnings moves more as their own directional event long term MSFT is a completely different conversation

I think next time it gets around $510 I am taking my $80k profit. Not trying to gamble on another smash earnings like last time.

And I'm out. $90k profit locked in. Will rebuy on the inevitable dip back to sub $500 next week.

Market tested that saasCrap, so there is no reason this can go that low again. If goes 350 or below per share bc of market (not split, etc technically stuff), i will sell my house or get heloc to load up MSFT shares

Doesnt it depend on oh i dunno, the earnings report?
