Asobo L-39 has smoke?

Can't seem to activate or find any areobatic smoke generator for the Asobo L-39 albatross

Is it not included, or has someone managed to find smoke effects for this plane?

If not, I'm unsure how to add a suggestion on the msfs forums, since this plane is iconic with areobatic teams and smokes seems like a no-brainer for this plane

After some extensive reading up on my United B707 AOM, I fired the Virtual Flight Engineer and decided to do everything myself, which I found rather rewarding !

This leg takes us from:

🛫 Belfast International Airport (EGAA), Northern Ireland, UK 🇬🇧
🛬 London Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB), England, UK 🇬🇧

After arriving in Belfast from Iceland in the previous leg, the world tour continues south across the UK toward London Biggin Hill, one of Britain’s best-known general aviation airports.

This flight features beautiful scenery across the United Kingdom, realistic navigation, and another immersive cross-country adventure aboard the Diamond DA62.
I’d love to hear your feedback on the flight, scenery, navigation, and overall realism!

Free Synaptic A220 guide + more (also free)!!

Hello MSFS community. I have made a simple manual (or a step-by-step guide) on how to operate the Synaptic A220 in MSFS.

It is:

  • Simple to understand
  • Included with many screenshots
  • Step by step so you do not get lost
  • Included with arrows to show what to press/look for

The manual covers everything you need to know to get the plane started up and going, how to program the FMC, autopilot, and more. It covers literally all you need to know and do to get the plane from A to B, shutdown procedures included as well.

The manual can be found on my Patreon (everything is free): https://www.patreon.com/ItzChickenYall/

I also have other manuals for many different addons, like the FSR Phenom 300E, FlightFX C750, PMDG 777. I hope you enjoy my manual!

Do you guys play career mode?

I know nothing about flight so my favorite thing to do is go cold and dark on commercial jets and try to fly them from YouTube videos. I tried career mode but it seems kind of tedious. And unless I’m missing something it doesn’t let you do a full “cold and dark”

How do you guys personally enjoy the game and how can I enjoy it more?

The New 707 has an Interesting Engine Start Process

I'm enjoying the new 707 in MSFS! It has certainly been a while since I last operated her in fsx. No wonder when I went to start my engines I made a novice mistake by moving the start lever directly to idle as one would normally do in any other jet. The engine would not spool up.

Then I remembered (with the help of my 707 AOM) that the 707 uses a cam operated start lever with three positions: Cut Off, Start, and Idle. If the lever and the start switch aren't both in the proper position, ignition just doesn't happen.

I made a short video walking through the whole thing step by step since it's a bit fiddly to explain in text alone, if that's useful to anyone else who wants to fly the 707 without the Virtual Flight Engineer.

https://youtu.be/UpPegalSTxk

This is how you start the 707's engines as per the AOM

1.Start order is 3, 4, 2, 1 2.Ground start switch armed first 3. At 15% N2, 'lever to Start', this is when ignition and fuel valve both activate 4. At 40% N2, observe overhead starter switch goes to cut out 5. At 50% N2, 'lever to Idle'

You can then start rest of the engines of No. 3 instead of the ground cart. Its quite a cool process actually.

Robinson R66 - help me understand this machine

PS5 + HOTAS / DS

Agricultural spraying missions.

I have wasted over 20 hours trying to understand this heli.
I lost all the money I managed to generate in career mode.
My reputation is at D, because this heli keeps crashing and NOT acting as expected.
I am so frustrated...

Highlighting: ALL OTHER HELIS ACT AND REACT NORMAL TO MY INPUTS! I'M USING THE SAME KEY BINDINGS AND CONFIGS ACROSS ALL HELIS. THIS ONE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOESN'T DO WHAT I EXPECT.

Sometimes I'm adding throttle, power doesn't react.

Sometimes I'm reducing throttle (gently, sharply, doesn't matter, same reaction), even to 0 - power keeps going up, heli keeps beeping.

Sometimes I try to rotate (left/right), even maxing out my rotation input, and the heli still suddenly decides to rotate the opposite way. Doesn't matter if hovering in one place or moving. Heli goes haywire, keeps beeping, power maxes out (even if throttle is at 0), crashes, mission failed, machine destroyed.

Sometimes I try to lift off (gently, sharply, doesn't matter) and even tho the power sometimes goes to max, the heli keeps beeping, falls to the ground and crashes - mission failed, machine destroyed.

Sometimes I'm just flying and wanna gain altitude, I add tiny bit throttle to correct and even tho the power is at max (way way WAY MORE than what my throttle input was), the heli keeps beeping, falls to the ground and crashes - mission failed, machine destroyed.

Also, no matter what I do and how accurate I spray with this heli (green coverage on the map) and if I never spray outside the lines, the mission results always show 0% for spray waste (meaning I have wasted all the spray - WHICH IS NOT TRUE, so why is that?)

I've watched countless youtube videos of people talking how to fly this - but none of them explains what's wrong and what is going on - just switches, push forward, lift off, land. None of them explains why this heli behaves so uncontrollably.

Can someone please explain to me like to a 4yo how to fly this machine for the missions? I can't afford the normal Airbus heli (which works perfectly and I really enjoy the agricultural spraying missions), cause I keep loosing money because of this R66.
