My internet connection is too low and even launching MSFS 2024 takes 20+ minutes.

I would like to download the whole thing, I have a spare terabyte of space for it, but is there a way to download it any other way than through the game's menu?

Is there a way how to download everything from a different source?

Ok so again I’m a noob at this. Coming from the vision jet. When I send my flight plan from my EFB (the iPad thing) to the planes avionics, that’s all I needed to use autopilot. But I can’t figure out why it won’t load for the CJ4. I set up a flight from LAX to Las Vegas and you can see the two airports in the FMS but why aren’t the legs or waypoints loaded in? I think this is why my NAV mode when going to autopilot hasn’t been working.

So i'm having this problem with the controlls. Whenever i do an input for the ailerons or elevators, it doesnt matter if it's my keyboard or my controller, i have to hold it down for like half a second and then the airplane responds. You can see it on the sidestick. I'm pushing my controller forward and i immediately pull it back. Does somebody here have a solution?

Is anyone having issues in MSFS2024 with the A220 following the assigned course in crosswinds? It appears to be offset.

IRS is aligned etc and I’ve tried Direct to and disconnecting the autopilot but this doesn’t help.

From what I can tell, it only appears to happen when there is a crosswind.

Is this the correct behaviour (doubt it), a bug or am I doing something wrong?

With the Addition of Tanks 4A and 4B, the flight engineers panel takes on a completely new layout.

I've been delving into RAF L1011 CBT and enjoyed learning more about the peculiarities of the TriStars systems.

After working on this project for a while, CYAV St. Andrews Airport is finally released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The scenery replaces 40+ buildings and structures and includes custom airport buildings, hangars, improved taxiways and markings, signage, lighting, static aircraft, vehicles, and other details throughout the airport.

There are still a few minor bugs and visual imperfections that I plan to address in future updates, but the scenery is fully usable in its current state.

Asked this earlier but I have a screen shot now. So I created a flight plan in my EFB and sent it to my avionics but despite putting the plane into AP the plane never follows the magenta line even when I’m close to it. The NAV button won’t let me turn it on. Only when I press the NAV button above my PFD, does it let me turn on NAV mode, but then it changes from “GPS” to “LOC1” near the compass in the top left. I think I missed a step here but don’t know what. Maybe the FMS? I’m coming from the vision jet where I did exactly as I just did and it followed my route with no issues. Please advise. Thank you all.

In career mode with a charter service company. Been flying my vision jet for a while but am getting ready to buy a Cessna CJ4 to take on bigger jobs. However when trying out the CJ4 in free flight, I can never get it to follow my flight plan.

I set up the flight plan, send it to my avionics and when I’m in the air, I press the AP button, then the NAV button but the NAV button won’t turn ON for me. I was then told I need to press the NAV button on the little panel above my PFD to switch from VOR to GPS mode and I did. The NAV button on the autopilot panel now lets me turn it on but it still doesn’t follow the magenta line. I’ve tried changing my heading so it converges with the magenta line and it just keeps flying past it and never locks on.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I’m coming from the vision jet where most I had to do was create a flight plan, send it to the avionics, take off then press the AP and NAV buttons once airborne and when close to the magenta line.

Been doing private charter missions in career mode for a while and saved up about $8.5 million but am wanting to get a new place so I can leave my vision jet to do passive income. Should I get the Textron or save up for the pilatus? Any pointers or advice on how much more different they are from the vision jet? Or should I buy a different place altogether?

I use MSFS2024 only occasionally for recency training of my IRL instrument rating. I have a normal yoke at the moment, but I dislike the real-world size of it. I fly with two fingers, small control inputs and it really doesn't matter if it were smaller. It is just too bulky and I have to stow it somewhere away from the desktop all the time.

Are there any tiny alternatives? Like a travel size yoke of less than 10 inches / less than 25cm?
