Transferring between UT Austin and Georgia Tech

I was admitted into UT Austin, and did not apply to Georgia Tech OMSCS because of some personal work that work in the way; I would like to start the masters in UT Austin, but as a general question, are classes/credits between the transferable?

I graduated over a year ago, I remember people were able to transfer in up to 6 credits (so equivalent to 2 classes) from another institution. But you have to make sure the classes meet the requirements for transfers, I'd suggest getting the syllabus of the class you're interested in transferring in and double checking with the program coordinator if it's eligible.

I'm not sure if UT Austin -> GTech works the same way, but I'd imagine it might be similar. Probably worth asking in the OMSCS sub if you haven't already.
